The Corkonian is a great pub with great craic in the true tradition of all Oirish bars.Situated in the Alter market area of Cologne and just a couple of minutes walk from the main train station and the magnificent Dom cathedral.
People of all ages, live sports, friendly bar staff and big Matt on the door,go some way into making this a great pub to spend leisure time after a day out about in Cologne. The ale is fine, guiness on draft, the local brew Kolsch and one hell of a drink i discovered PAULANER a lovely beer Brewed in Munchen and served ice cold in a tall glass, but be beware,to many of those will have you seeing double!
I have been to Cologne during the festive season for the past two years now to visit the Christmas markets and the corkonian is a lovely pub to chill out in.
