Advantages: Cool decor and intriguing landlady!

Drink Pub is just a few moments away from Metro Centrum and also relatively close to Nathan's Villa Hostel, whilst it's popular with a 30 something crowd who have been going since their teen years, it is largely overlooked by visitors and wrongly so.

Drink Pub is small, smokey and has a lot of charm, it has a 30s Parisian feel to it, not that I was around then but that's how I imagine it to be.

On entering you are greeted by a dingy metal and plaster heavy room with seats on either sides, the bar is at the end. I have it on good authority that this place has been ran by the same woman for at least 17 years.

An interesting character, an Edith Piaf looking character with fiery red hair, she is a woman of few words and little charm, she seems to dislike serving customers and is occasionally hard to find. That's all part of the charm of the place though and the wrought iron seats back on to each other so that neither you nor the person sat behind you will be able to tuck themselves in to the table properly. A thoughtful looking place to while away the hours, this is cosy and perhaps should stay open later than the 2am closing time.

The only bone I have to pick with this place is the prices of drinks - with beer at 9zl, it's not the cheapest pub in town.
