Advantages: chocolate plus other yummy shops next door

Disadvantages: can be a little pricey

This really is a must visit place in San Francisco. Although the hot chocolate or sundaes aren't cheap they are a delight! If you don't want to queue to get in the cafe there is always the adjoining store where you can buy your chocolate souvenirs to take home for family and friends and not too expensive either. I particularly like the amount of samples you can try whilst there - a chocoholic's dream!

It's easy to get to as the bus stop is right outside and although last year they were improving that area, there are other stores including a delicious but expensive cup cake shop right next door and a 50's restaurant with burgers and shakes as well as a more upmarket fish restaurant.

The staff are lovely and very helpful - just as you would expect in America. Don't miss it, you'll regret not going there I promise
