Fantastic atmosphere, if you like loud rock music while eating! (Hard Rock Café)

Advantages: Had so much fun and gorgeous cocktails.

Disadvantages: Drinks quite pricey.

I had never been to any branch of the hard rock cafe before and stumbled across it after being given a voucher for a free fudge brownie sundae with every main meal purchase. This voucher was on the back of the map for the open top bus tour!

It took quite some time to find the hard rock cafe, despite being quite famous none of the locals or shop workers we asked knew where it was, so it took some real determination to track it down.

We finally got there, the outside has chairs seated on the pavement with a large canapy over the top. Two people stand on the entrance to keep out beggars etc, ehich makes for a much nicer atmosphere. The front of the building is a shop which sells memorabilia, if you are into your rock.

At busy times you may not get a table straight away, but it is possible to wait, or sit and have a drink at the bar which we ended up doing. The service is relatively fast so we didnt have to wait too long before being shown to our table. Whilst at the bar we ordered some amazing cocktails (slightly pricey, but we were on holiday!) The atmosphere was great as we would sit there and watch the waiters making them up whilst listening to the music. Rock music is played loudly everywhere so do not go if you dont fancy that.

The food was typical american style, meat meat, burgers more meat and some nachos. There were a few vegetarian opitons, enough to satisfy me! The food was not of a fine dining criteria, but with a place like this it is more the atmosphere that you pay for.

All in all we had a great night out, and left quite a bit poorer due to the amount of gorgeous cocktails we consumed.

Summary: Great fun and great experience.
