Its great for a special occasion

Insitu is situated near the corso in Manly, Australia. It is a trendy, nicely decorated restuarant and bar.

The best thing about this restaurant is that they have live music on at least a few times a week. These acts range between jazz trios to acoustic singer songwriters. They are all to a high standard and its nice to sit outside the back or the front, eat some tapas and listen to some music.

The food is amazing here, you can get a really nice fryup or healthier breakfast option for under $20. Then for lunch theres a small menu including salad and burgers. The best meal in here though is the small tapas option. The chilli garlic prawns are my favourite, as well as the bruschetta with mushrooms.

The food is about the right price compared to the other restuarants of a similar standard in Manly, so its good for a treat but dont go there everytime otherwise your backpacker bank balance will shrink dramatically.

The atmosphere here is buzzing, theres a lovely outdoor area at the back and its lovely on these summer evenings.

If want somewhere a bit more upmarket to go out in the Insitu is a nice place to spend a few hours in the evening. They do cocktails as well for $15 a go, Ive never tried one but they look nice!

The best night in my opinion is sunday when they have the more chilled out jazz acts. A great alternative to the other mental nights out that you can have in manly.
