Advantages: Reasonably priced, good fun, decent music

Disadvantages: A tad away from most of the hotels/hostels

Klub Resava has been a focal point of Belgrade's nightlife for some years now, located at 24 Resavska Street, it is fairly central but with few other nightlife options nearby. By day this place is a suave sophisticated cafe where you can sip fine Turkish coffees or more complicated caffeine fixes. Pizzas are also served up but I have to say that I've never tried one due to the fact I have my favourite pizzeria in Belgrade and don't veer from it!

The evening is when this place really begins to liven up, you can find seats outside, inside near the bar and behind the bar in two more dimly lit rooms used as dance floors with seating around the sides. The music can be pretty much everything from rock and pop through to dance but the music is well chosen and not necessarily the kind of stuff you'd expect to be played.

The bar staff are friendly as are the bouncers (a bit of a rarity for Belgrade), this place doesn't really liven up until about 11 and it often has a happy hour from around midnight. As in many clubs in Serbia (although not as many as in Russia)... they have promotional offers directed at girls (free entrance or free drinks) with the thinking that a lot of girls in the club ensures a lot of men buying tickets. It seems to work! There are often live concerts here, they are a bit hit and miss from what I've seen and it's often better to come afterwards!

The place tends to close at 3am and you'll likely want to stay for longer!
