I think this place is a total rip off. Since we had to watch our budgets we checked the prices of crepes before we sat down to order. The crepes turned out to be reasonably priced around Euro 5,- / Euro 6,-. After both eating to crepes and consuming two drinks we we're realy surprised to receive a bill of over Euro 40,-!! Turned out that a (normal) glass off coca cola and even a simple cup of thea costs Euro 5,- each! Naturally the prices of the drinks were nowhere to be found on the menu. Off course nobody figures that a cup of thea has the same price as the crepe he's eating. My opinion is that by leaving these prices of the menu and only mentioning the low priced ... Montmartre by itself doesn’t need a recommendation but a rare, genuinely Parisian spot on it does. The small area, which is the top of the Montmartre hill and the highest spot in Paris, is always overrun by tourists. Thankfully most of them flock around Place de Tertre there Japanese painters are desperately trying to pass for the late descendants of the Impressionist movement. The small lanes around it, are filled with overpriced restaurants and other tourist traps selling posters and bad paintings.
