I am a resident in Dubai for over 5 years and I came here when I was 20 and lived here ever since Dubai is a city where you can say what country’s people you haven’t met rather then listing all the cultures that you had the privilege to meet Even though placed in the middle of a sea of hard-line Muslims (i.e. Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iran) this place is definitely more relaxed than many Asian countries The idea is that you may do whatever you please (even outside the law) as long as you do not affect anyone else; once you do you will be dealt with in a very serious manner. Bars in Dubai ... have just been on a 2 week holiday in Dubai, It is an amazing country and the nightlife was amazing. A friend forwrded me a link to a website before i went called www.dubainightplanner.com it is a free service in which they sent me an email which had discount vouchers for the hottest bars, restaurants and clubs in Dubai....and best of all it was completely FREE. I would advise to anyone wanting to visit Dubai to visit the site as it saved me so much money in my 2 week stay as eboth weeks i was there the promotions changed so there was always somewhere new to go with an exclusive discount to different bars ect. Bars in Jerusalem ... that I spend a lot of my time in Jerusalem and love the occasional beer or three I have done a fair amount of research into Jerusalem bars. Me As with anything it is important to know where I am coming from. I appreciate a bar with a bit of atmosphere. Music shouldn't be too loud, service should be decent and there should be a good choice of drinks.
