That is except for the weekends when the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) supporters are in town for a match. Then it is heaving to the rafters with GAA people all supping down pints of Guinness (and anything else they can get their hands on) at a rate of knots. This is never more so than when County Kerry are in town as the landlord is a Kerry native and well known in GAA circles. This is a grand city centre pub located on the corner of Merchant's Quay and Lower Bridge Street in Dublin at the far end of Temple Bar. Walk up the south quay of the River Liffey from O'Connell Street Bridge going towards Heuston Railway Station, and it's on your left hand side. (10 minute stroll) The pub has been around a fair while and caters mostly for the tourist trade, with shamrocks, leprechauns, and all sorts of Irish memorabilia in abundance and traditional Irish music on a nightly basis.
