On a recent trip to Antigua we took a trip to Shirley Heights. We had been planning to go to this place as soon as we knew we would be going to Antigua as it is probably one of the biggest tourist attractions on the island that is very well known. I don't think a trip to Antigua would be complete if you didn't visit here! So what is it? For those who aren't familiar with it, I will just explain what this place is. Shirley Heights is a party place high up in the hills overlooking English Harbour where every Thursday and Sunday night they have a steel band on with food, drinks available. Myself and my Wife have just come back from Antigua and whilst there we went to a place called Shirley heights. To be honest I had never really heard of it before my wife mentioned it as she was the one who knew all about which sights to see whilst we would be there and so had told me about this place. Once we got there we enquired into making a trip through the tour rep in our hotel which it cost us $22 each for the taxi to take us and bring us back and then we would have to pay $8 each once we got there as our entrance fee.
