Newest Review: ... of sand dumped on it and a volleyball court erected - great craic! There is a large seating area out the front, with six tables and benches. The pub serves Guinness of course and has a "100 Pint Club", whereby if you drink 100 pints (which you get proof by having a card stamped) you get your name up on a board in the pub. There a re a few of these throughout New Zealand, but none that I saw have as many names as this one! The Bog also serves Kilkenny and some New Zealand beers, like Macs Gold. I had the pleasure of working in this fine establishment for four months back in 2003. The Bog now has four locations throughout New Zealand - Christchurch, Parnell in Auckland, Manukau and Dunedin. This review is based on the one in Christchurch, as I have first hand experience of the bar. The Bog is located on Cashel Mall in the centre of Christchurch. This is just at the top of Oxford Terrace, where there is a row of twelve other bars. Cashel Mall is pedestrianised so it is very easy to get to the pub.
