Dove Supreme Sleek Satin Bath
by Abski2001
Dove Supreme Sleek Satin Bath
I enjoy the odd bath at the weekend to relax and read my book and there is nothing better than a good quality bubble bath to go in it. I do like silky and moisturising bath foams over really bubbly lotions and have bought Dove's Supreme Sleek Satin Bath many times over the years.
The ... bath lotion comes in the standard Dove bath products packaging. The bottle is made of a strong plastic material and is overall a pearl/white colour. This bath lotion contains 500 ml of liquid and has a flip top.
The colour schemes vary for each Dove flavour and variety and this Supreme Sleek Satin Bath has a dark blue and white colour pattern. There is a blue square with a satin like material picture on the front and the top of the bottle has a thick blue stripe on it. The Dove branding is bold across the front and there is a cute little gold coloured Dove motif.
When you are running your hot bath you simply pour in a good glug of this bath lotion into the flow of water and stir it in slightly. The lotion itself is a lovely pearly white colour and is really shiny and smooth in appearance. It is quite thick and gooey and you need to give the bottle a little squeeze to get it out of the bottle.
The scent of this bath cream is quite subtle, it has hints of vanilla and fine lilac and overall very nice and fresh smelling. The scent helps you to relax and this is a nice and soft floral scent that matches the satin like texture of the cream.
This is not meant to be a bubbly and fizzing bath cream, it is a rich and silky smooth moisturiser that lathers the water and gives it a lovely smooth and satin like feel. When you slip into the bath it coats your skin in a rich and creamy layer that moisturises and leaves your skin feeling lovely and smooth and like the name says - satin like.
Overall I really like this bath cream from Dove and can feel the benefits of the rich and creamy texture working on my skin whilst in and after my bath. This is available in supermarkets and online and has a retail price of £1.60, you can often pick up Dove products on offer and I tend to wait for when they are. Lovely bath cream! Radox Herbal Bath Moisture Soak
by k2705
I bought this Radox Moisture Soak before Christmas on a BOGOF offer in my local Tesco, with all the toiletries I was lucky enough to receive for Christmas it got pushed to the back of the cupboard and I found it the other week with about a quarter of it left.
Radox Moisture Soak Bath Therapy is sold in a tall clear curvy ... plastic bottle allowing you to see the pretty pale pink liquid inside, I like clear bottles as they allow you to always see how much is left. The bottle has a simple screw top lid and the front displays the Radox logo and informs the customer that this is Moisture Soak Bath Therapy to pamper your skin with calendula and rose. The front of the bottle also has a rose on it and states that Radox are "blending natural herbs".
The back of the bottle gives a small paragraph about the product and all the usual information you would expect to find on a product like this such as ingredients and warnings, all of this is clearly written for those who wish to read it. The back of the bottle also states that this is PH balanced.
The smell of this is very nice, its floral and despite being a delicate fragrance it lingers on my skin long after I'm out of the bath or shower. I would describe the consistency of this as a thick liquid rather than a gel.
To use I just pour a little onto a damp bath scrunchie and lather it up. A little of this product creates a lot of thick rich creamy white lather which when in the bath lasts the whole time I'm in there. It leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh and smelling great.
Although this is described as a "moisture soak" I do find I need to moisturise afterwards, having said that my hands do feel particularly soft after using this and my skin doesn't feel tight or dry.
I really like this Radox Moisture Soak Bath Therapy from Radox, it lathers so well and smells very pretty, in my personal opinion this is definitely one for the girls, apart from the pale pink and flowery bottle the smell is definitely feminine, there's no way my husband would use it.
All in all I would certainly recommend Radox Moisture Soak Bath Therapy , its available in most major supermarkets and places like Superdrug and Boots. Its currently selling for £1.90 for a 500ml bottle give or take a few pence depending where you shop, however its currently on offer in Tesco for 95p . I would be more than happy to buy this one again. Read the complete review |

Radox Herbal Bath Muscle Therapy
by ladyradley
I love my Radox. In the evenings I like to unwind in a hot bath with plenty of bubbles. I haven't come across any brand as good as Radox as far as the bubbles are concerned. I have tried various 'flavours' and this one I currently have but it is not one of my favourites.
Radox make a variety of bathroom products, I have a few ... of their shower gels and plenty of their bath foam. The bubble bath comes in a tall thin bottle so it doesn't take up much space on the shelf which is good considering I currently have three bottles of the stuff! It is see through and the bubble bath is always a really rich colour which looks lovely on the shelf with the sun shining through it!
This one my husband bought me but I actually am quite disappointed by it in terms of smell. It's very rich in spices and has more of a 'manly' smell about it, it's not zesty and soft like the other flavours that I previously have used. This I think is probably more geared towards men which is perhaps why my husband bought it, maybe he smelt it and thought it was nice. It isn't my taste though.
It does make lots of bubbles, a little bit does go a long way and because it's such a deep red it also turns the water slightly pink which my grandchildren love so I tend to use this for bathing them, they seem to like the smell and they are impressed with how bubbly it gets!
I won't be buying this one again, I will stick to the flavours I know I like in future. Read the complete review |
