Calvin Klein Euphoria Sensual Bath & Shower Créme
by rotunda
I must tell you about this wonderful bath cream I have just recently discovered - Calvin Klein Euphoria Sensual Bath and Shower Cream, to be exact. It wasn't cheap at £21.95 for a 200ml bottle but I do love it, and it's not like I use it every night - just once in a while.
I went for a job interview the other day and I didn't ... get it. Consequently, I was feeling a little low and a bit down on myself, and, rather than feeding my face, as I normally would, I decided the better option was to buy myself something rather smelly and indulgent (and not to mention, expensive). I already own a bottle of Calvin Klein Euphoria Perfume and as I love the floral fruity scent so much I decided to treat myself to some tof the bath and shower cream in the same range.
As I say, it comes in a 200ml bottle which is fairly plainly packaged but I am not a lady who is swayed too much by the packaging of a product anyway. I used it a night later as I decided I needed some serious cheering up and it was a weekend and I had nothing planned.
I lit some candles, got my large glass of wine and ran the bath. I gently poured some of the contents of my Calvin Klein Euphoria Sensual Bath and Shower Cream under the running wate and immediately was hit by the gorgeous smell of perfume.
It is a little difficult for me to describe or even to do it justice. The cream was rather thick and rich looking as it came out of the bottle and the smell was sensual, sophisticated and mysterious, all in one. My kind of perfume! This is lovely to use if you are using the perfume too as it kind of 'builds up' layers and makes the scent last so much longer.
Added to this is the fact that it really does hydrate and nourish my skin and makes it feel smooth and velvety. I could have lain there all night - I didn't want to have to get out.
I really felt like I had just experienced true luxury. Calvin Klein Euphoria Sensual Bath and Shower Cream also clarifies your skin and can be used in the shower as well as the bath, though personally I have yet to do this.
I know paying over £21 for a bath cream is probably way too self-indulgent, but I don't think it does any harm once in a while, and no-one else is going to treat me so I may as well treat myself.
A lovely product and one which I really can recommend.

Calvin Klein CK one Body Wash
by Lakerfanster
**Introduction**
For my latest Fragrance review I have decided to review the CK One bodywash. If you are aware of this Body Wash from Calvin Klein then you will probably know it is sold as a lone product or as part of a CK One gift set. I was lucky enough to be given a CK One gift set for Christmas by a friend for who I had ... bought the Calvin Klein Man fragrance set which he really likes. So below is my review on the CK One Bodywash from Calvin Klein.
**CK One Bodywash**
CK One is quite an expensive Bodywash compared to a lot of others but you would typically pay around £13 for this one and other Body Wash products from the likes of the big names like Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Tommy Hilfiger etc. CK One is one of the most popular body wash products around and is of course unisex just like the eau de toilette fragrance. You can buy this Bodywash individually in two different sizes 200ml and 250ml and you can get a smaller one with the CK One gift sets that are about.
**The Gel**
Once you open the cap you will get that distinctive CK One scent and once you use it in the shower or even a bath then you will be pleased yet again with the gentle feel of the gel against your skin and the low amount of gel you need to use to get the right effect. You are given a refreshingly fruity fragrance which contains hints of papaya, pineapple and jasmine with notes of green tea and amber. When you come out of the shower or bath you will instantly notice the fine fragrance that fills the bathroom and will last for quite a while in there.
**Hair washing**
It used to be so that shampoo laughed at shower gels ability to wash the hair but now that is not the case as more and more Bodywashes are adept at being used as a shampoo. This CK One Bodywash is one of the best shower gels I have used as a shampoo and even though it does not give the kind of shine that a top dedicated shampoo will it still does a very good job of washing the hair and giving it a smooth clean feel but if you have a shampoo you always use then it would be best to stick with that if it gets the results.
**Use with**
The two CK One products will go together superbly as you would expect them to but the CK One Bodywash will also blend well with a number of other fragrances and will even do a decent job with cheaper deodorants like Lynx, Adidas and any other good ones around that price point. The fact that CK One is a unisex fragrance probably benefits the versatility of it when it comes to using it with other fragrances. If you are a woman reading this review then it will go well with the likes of Impulse, Imperial leather and a wealth of expensive fragrances which have a flowery base.
**Overall**
So there we have it, CK One's Bodywash is just as good as it's fragrance and works suprisingly well as a shampoo aswell. If you are tempted then have a look around for the best deal as I have seen a 250ml bottle of this for less than £10 which is roughly £4 cheaper than normal which is a decent saving. One of the best of the more expensive shower gels I have used. Read the complete review |
