Oriflame Silk & Cashmere Bath & Shower Cream
by klakierek
Oriflame Silk & Cashmere Bath & & Shower Cream was recommended by an Oriflame rep to one of my family members who has a very dry skin. When I run out of my shower gel, I stole it quite a few times and used it.
This shower gel comes in a white plastic container with a pale pink screw lid at the bottom. I think it ... looks very feminine and although it is quite plain and simple, I like the design.
The shower gel itself has a pearly white colour. I simply love its texture - it isn't very runny but it isn't thick either, just a perfect balance in between the two -very creamy. When I take a shower, I would usually put some of this shower gel on my puff and it produces a lot of lather. It cleanses very well and after I have used it, my skin became softer and smoother - it gave a really nice effect.
I also tried using it as a bath cream but unfortunately, it was not as good. I put it under the running water (I usually do that because I think I produce a lot more foam this way) but it didn't produce the amount of foam I expected even though I used more of it than intended. My skin still became softer and smoother but it wasn't as nice as when I used it as a shower gel.
It has a very mild and delicate scent. It is very difficult to describe, but again, it is very feminine and pleasant. It disappears very quickly so I can use my favourite parfume straight after taking a shower and I won't create some crazy smelling mixture.
Unfortunately, it seems to me that this shower gel disappears very quickly and if you pay £6.75 for 200 ml, it is quite expensive.

Oriflame Feminelle Soothing Intimate Wash
by klakierek
Intimate Wash is one of the basic things in my bathroom. It has an appropriate pH and is more gentle than soap. Once I find a good one, I tend not to change it very often. Oriflame Feminelle Soothing Intimate Wash was an experiment for me.
It comes in a creamy and orangeish container with a white pump at the top. The design ... isn't very sophisticated yet it is quite feminine and modern. You need to turn the pump and press it, then a bit of this wash will drop on your hands - it is very handy and easy to use. Even though the wash isn't thick (in fact, I would call it runny), you don't need to apply a lot of it. Also, as there is a pump at the top you won't spill the wash all over the bath tube or shower cubicle - very handy for clumsy people like me.
The wash has a creamy colour and it lathers up very easily. The scent is very mild and pleasant; according to the producer it is allergen-free. I am not usually allergic to chemicals so it wasn't a problem here either. It is a gentle cleanser and it does its job really well. I don't really think it moisturises or soothes the skin in any particular way but as an everyday intimate wash it is great. It also contains natural lactic acid, calendula and almond extracts.
Overall, it is a good everyday intimate wash. However, it is quite expensive - you will pay £5.75 for 300 ml. It can be bought from Oriflame reps.

Oriflame Silk & Cashmere Exfoliating Shower Cream
by klakierek
Oriflame Silk & Cashmere Exfoliating Shower Cream was a present from a relative who is an Oriflame rep. I think it was a cosmetic from limited edition as I haven't seen it in the most recent catalogues.
It comes in a dark violet/purple tube with a transparent lid at the bottom. I personally think that it looks very ... luxurious. The plastic is quite smooth so at first I was worried that it will end up on the floor when I pick it up with wet hands however there is enough friction to prevent it.
The shower cream has a white creamy colour and you can see a lot of tiny scrubbing bits and bobs in it. It is called 'shower cream' not without a reason; it has a very creamy and smooth texture. I don't like using my puff with exfoliating shower gels or scrubs so I spread it with my hands. It produces quite a lot of lather easily.
It is a mild scrub so you can feel free to use it every day as it leaves nice and fresh after-feeling however if you are looking for something very exofoliating then this is not for you. I must admit that after a week or so of regular usage my skin became softer and smoother however I don't think this shower cream moisturised it (but it didn't dry it out either).
It has a very nice and delicate scent - it isn't flowery or anything and I cannot really compare it to the smell of cashmere and silk as I don't know what they smell like but I definitely like the scent of this shower cream. It disappears quickly from your skin and you can barely smell it in the bathroom.
Overall, this is a good shower cream but unfortunately it isn't available anymore and I am not sure how much it cost when it was in the catalogue. Read the complete review |
