Radox Sleep Easy Herbal Bath
by hanmillie
As part of my trip to Boots recently, another of the bath soaks that I came across as part of a deal was this 'Radox Sleep Easy". Being that my husband and I both enjoy a bath before bedtime, it made sense to me to buy a product that would assist with sleep and would all in all make the evening more relaxing, particularly as we both ... have quite stressful jobs.
This bath soak is presented in the classic Radox translucent bottle which has the Radox logo imprinted on the sides and is topped with a blue screw top lid. On the front of the bottle is illustrated a handful of flowers being dropped into a pool of water giving an overall effect of calm in my opinion. This bath soak is a rich purple-blue in colour and its ingredients include lavender which is well known for its sleep inducing properties, as well as extracts of jasmine and camomile. Opening the bottle I can immediately smell the lavender which gives the liquid a herbal scent whilst the jasmine is also noticeable giving a floral twist. According to Radox the baht soak has a "feel good" fragrance and I can certainly concur with this statement after my first sniff.
To use this bath soak it is recommended that you simply pour a dollop under pouring water and swish to disperse it throughout the water. I like to give mine a good swish around with my hands as I find that this creates the maximum bubbles which only add to the relaxing nature of my bath time. This bath soak creates a lovely smell as it goes into the water which fills our bathroom with a refreshing floral scent, making it perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. Getting into the bath, I find that this bath soak only adds to the other feminine scents in my shower gel leaving my skin feeling sweet and feeling soft. The bubbles have good longevity and easily stand up to the traces of soap in the water. In addition, the scent of lavender is very relaxing and leaves me feeling ready for bed when I get out of the bath. I cannot say whether this bath soak makes me sleep better, as I am normally quote a good sleeper wherever I am, however it definitely leaves me feeling more sleep ready and more relaxed in the evening.
This bath soak is currently available in Boots for just £1 and this makes it a bargain in my opinion. Using a dollop of liquid a day I usually find that a bottle lasts a good couple of weeks making this bath soak very good value for money in my opinion.
I have really enjoyed using this bath soak, particularly in the colder weather and as a result it is highly recommended. This is yet another example of quality from Radox and for that it scores an excellent five stars from me.

Radox Nourish Bath Therapy
by hanmillie
In our home, bath time seems to have become quite a ritual and we have one every night given that we don't have a shower. As such we go through bath soaks at quite a rate. Whilst we will often shop around for the best offers on bath products, Radox has always been on of my firm favourites and so, when I saw that Boots were doing a deal ... of 500ml bottles for just £1 we bought a couple home with us there and then, one of them being this Radox Nourish Bath Therapy.
This bath soak is packaged in the standard Radox bottle which stands upright with the Radox logo imprinted into the sides of the bottle. The bottle is translucent in colour and this serves to show the colour of the bath soak within, in this case the liquid is a creamy beige in colour and so fits with our quite neutral bathroom colour scheme. A beige screw top lid matches the colour of the liquid which tops of the look in my opinion. On the front of the bottle a sticker illustrates that this bath soak is 'Nourish' and contains a 'feel good fragrance'. An illustration of a scattering of brown shea butter nuts and some red ginger flowers provides a nice contrast to the otherwise very neutral colour palette, and this illustration differs to that in the DooYoo picture. I can only assume that the packaging has been updated recently.
Inside, the liquid pours easily out of the lid when opened. The liquid is a lovely creamy consistency which contains (according to the label) shea butter and ginger and the smell of the shea butter ingredient is highly apparent. I had been hoping to get a whiff of ginger or at least detect a some spiciness in the fragrance but unfortunately my nostrils could only smell the shea butter. However, perhaps the ginger flowers were a give away and this bath soak contains only the flowers of ginger and not the actual spice.
To use this product I simply pour a dollop under running water and swish with my hands until the water looks frothy and inviting. As with all the other Radox products I have tried, this one froths easily and creates a lovely thick foam that doesn't disappear at the sight of soap. As this is part of the 'nourish' range of products I do like to treat my bath time as part of my pampering time and so will often get out a few candles to make it more relaxing, but of course this is up to personal preference.
This bubble bath creates a lovely soft scent that is relaxing and makes my skin smell sweet and clean. This bubble bath is certainly nourishing as it leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated therefore it definitely lives up to its namesake. All in all this is a lovely bath soak which I was very pleased with and would certainly recommend, particularly to those who like to have a softly scented bath and don't like anything too overpowering. My only disappointment was the lack of ginger fragrance, something I had been looking forward to when I read the label.
This bath soak can currently be purchased in Boots for just £1 making it a bargain in my experience. As a result of the above this product scores a great four stars from me.

Radox Shower Cream Moisturise
by MsTricia
More often than not, almost everywhere I go has some kind of offer on this Radox shower gel, whether it be Sainsburys, Superdrug or Boots (my main places where I'd do a toiletry shop). Costing around 99p for a 250ml bottle it seemed a really good bargain so I bought a few in the range and this Moisturising bottle was one of ... them.
It comes in an easy to use plastic bottle with a top down lid. The packaging is more updated than the picture as it has a lovely swirl flower design on the front in yellow and pink and the word "Moisturise" aligned horizontally across the top of the bottle. The bottle faces down so the shower gel can easily be squeezed out and when nearing the end of its usage it is already all flowing down to the spout of the bottle. There is also a handy flip up white plastic hook embedded in the design of the bottle so when in use I can easily hang it up in arms reach and don't have to keep bending down when I am in showering mode!
The shower gel itself is a thick, creamy, white soapy liquid. It is described as aa caring blend of and consists of chamomile and jojoba oil. For me chamomile is something I associate with tea and putting me to sleep and really the main smell I can put my finger on is the jojoba which smells really sweet. The smell is really light and subtle when showering and nice for a slightly rejuvenating shower.
I use a shower puff when showering with this and I found this shower gel lathers up rather nicely and not a lot is required to create a good amount of bubbles. It is easy to use all over, and with my shower puff it scrubs nicely and removes dirt leaving my skin feeling really clean and refreshed afterwards. As a "moisturising" shower gel I do find it effective as it does not leave my skin feeling super dry and unnourished but I do still have to cream my whole body afterwards!
Overall, as I only paid roughly £1 or so I think it is great value reasonable especially since I can make it last a good 2 weeks. It smells lovely, and washes well and does moisturise me skin nicely, so I would totally recommend this. Read the complete review |
