Adidas Victory League Shower Gel
Adidas was on sale in my local shop a few weeks ago so I decided to buy a couple of Adidas products like the Adidas Victory League Shower Gel. It's not a very attractive bottle but because I was previously surprised when I used another shower gel of Adidas I decided to give it a go. The Adidas Victory League Shower Gel contains 250ml of shower gel and it's really the gold like color that makes the bottle stand out. It's not really an appealing color for Shower gel since I don't really like the mix of gold and soap. The most important thing is of course that I does what it needs to do. The bottle is easy to use and on the back you find all the information about the product itself so no complains there.
The scent of the Adidas Victory League Shower Gel is quiet bad as I assumed when thinking about that bottle color. The shower gel has a quiet sweet scent but still gives you a nice fresh feeling. It smells more like pineapple so not a bad smell at all. It's really refreshing and gives you a clean and good feeling while using it. It's a strong smell when using it but I do notice that after the shower the scent doesn't stay long. The scent is quickly away but it does give me a clean feeling.
Of course with a shower gel it's not only the scent that matters but it should also clean your body. Now I do found it difficult to say how much it actually cleans my body after having a shower but it does make me feel clean. I like to smell at least clean and that's the feeling it's giving me after a shower.
I do enjoy the Adidas Victory League Shower Gel as I think it smell lovely and gives me a really fresh feeling when taking a shower. It's sweet at the same time so I really wakes you up nicely. The bottle contains 250ml which means for me the bottle will take about a month, depending on the amount of showers I really take. The only problem I sometimes have with Adidas is that the smell is strong during the shower itself but after the shower the smell is nowhere to be found. It's a little bit a disappointment when you notice the smell is gone. Overal the shower gel is really nice and I will buy it again when there's another sale on.
Whenever I see this shower gel in the supermarkets, I snap it up-thats because its not always in stock, but my wife says it smells soo great I just have to buy it.
The good thing I find about Adidas shower gels and tis one in particular is that they are designed for active peope who lead active lifestyles. In other words, they will get you clean and keep you smelling feels for ages after use.
So how good is this shower gel?
First off, lets look t the packaging. It comes in a very sleak stylish design, which is easy to hold when wet and slippery, as it has little dimples for added grip. The top just flips back to reveal the hole, where you squeeze the gel out of. A real bonus of this top is that it has never ever leaked, despte me taking this on numerous occassionals when travelling. The gold colour of the bottle gives a manly sophisicated look.
The scent of course is the main thig, and this doensnt let you down. It has a very manly smell, which really makes you feel fesh. The gel is a gold color, which tieds in nicely with the packaging.
The shower gel actually lasts quite a while too, and a little goes a ljg way with this stuff, and ataround £1.99 per bottle, this is excellent value for money.
I really like this scent, and it also comes with a matching body deodrant spray, so you can really have a scent which yuo use all day long.
Adidas Victory League shower gel has served me very well for the 6 months I've had it. As I'm often away with cadets I need to travel light yet still maintain some personal hygene, so I use the same product for both hair and body (even if it's not what the product is meant to do). So for the past 6 months my 'Going away gel' has been Adidas Victory League.
Packaging: The shower gel comes in an executive looking gold bottle, with black writing and the good ol' Adidas logo in white at the top. The bottle is also very ergonomic; with some dimples on the side to prevent you from 'dropping the soap' when your hands are slippy and wet.
Product: The gel itself is a transparent shad of deep yellow, which keeps the theme set by it packaging. The smell is quite similer to most mens showel gels. The texture is quite thick, but not too think so its difficult to apply, which is good; as it doesn't run out of your hands with a drop of water.
Effect: The product is easy to wash off once applied and leaves no smell, but it does a great job of cleaning you, as you're left with that squeaky feeling on your skin. The product also work well on your hair, and can easilly last you a couple of weeks without making it feel like a bale of straw.
Price: The gel is rather expensive at around £2.50 a bottle, but for that your getting a well known brand and a good product. You also get a generous amount as mine's lasted me for 3 week long camps and numerous weekends; it's still half full!
