With shower gel not on special offer, that you can purchase for less than quid you're usually looking at a white-labelled store's own 'basic' brand that reeks of 'sea minerals' ie. the scent that was previously known as 'fresh blue' and is sold in an uninspiring opaque plastic 'with integral shower hook' tyle tube. If you're shopping at Aldi, however, you can buy 250ml little round-shouldered bottles of attractively coloured, attractively packaged cheap shower gel for well under a pound. This product smells very strongly of ginger when you squeeze it onto your hand to use it and this wakes you up pretty quickly on a morning so it gets plus points for that. However, I found it disaapointing in other areas. I didn't think it lathered up very well, even though previous reviewers have said it was good on their hand or on a a scrunchy I found that a scrunchy didn't give much of a lather which is unusual. This shower gel is quite cheap 0.69p but you don't get much. It would last 2 or 3 weeks if you used it everyday at the most. Aldi Extracts Ginger Shower Gel Having spotted the shampoo and conditioner in this range in my mums bathroom I decided to grab a bottle of this in my local Aldi store recently, purely for my love of the smell of ginger! A 250ml bottle of this amber coloured shower nectar will set you back an entire 59p. I think that the bottle looks more expensive than that and I certainly would not have guessed that it was from Aldi.
