In this range there is the ginger variety that comes as an clear, amber coloured liquid, and a grapefruit type that has a wonderful bitter-grapefruit scent. The grapefruit one is coloured shocking pink. The ginger variety has a pleasant, sweetish smell - not the 'amazing ginger zing' I was expecting, but it's certainly nice enough and definitely non-...more

Aldi Extracts Ginger Shower Gel: Well-above-average budget body wash (327 words)

With shower gel not on special offer, that you can purchase for less than quid you're usually looking at a white-labelled store's own 'basic' brand that reeks of 'sea minerals' ie. the scent that was previously known as 'fresh blue' and is sold in an uninspiring opaque plastic 'with integral shower hook' tyle tube. If you're shopping at Aldi, however, you can buy 250ml little round-shouldered bottles of attractively coloured, attractively packaged cheap shower gel for well under a pound. Smells nice but no lather (163 words)

This shower gel is quite cheap 0.69p but you don't get much. It would last 2 or 3 weeks if you used it everyday at the most. I also bought the shampoo and conditioner that goes with this range and found them to be equally poor. Again ...  Read the complete review

Aldi Extracts Ginger Shower Gel Having spotted the shampoo and conditioner in this range in my mums bathroom I decided to grab a bottle of this in my local Aldi store recently, purely for my love of the smell of ginger! A 250ml bottle of this amber coloured shower nectar will set you back an entire 59p. I think that the bottle looks more expensive than that and I certainly would not have guessed that it was from Aldi. 'Energise and stimulate your senses with this shower gel' This shower gel has the most amazing and intense smell of stem ginger. The shower dispenses on to the palm of my hand or into a shower scrunchie easily with a firm ...  Read the complete review
