A wonderful bubble bath from Asda

As you know if you read my reviews I adore my baths so I always favour bubble baths over showers. I love it when I come across new bath products and a bonus when they are actually any good.

Asda - Calming and Softening Bath Soak:

'Inspired by the ancient beauty rituals of Japan where natural harmony is a daily meditative art, this elegant product is designed to restore balance to inner body and mind"

      My Findings:

Not normally one for going for "own brand" product as some I've tried in the past have pretty much failed. That being said I'm very happy I gave this a go as it has now become one of my favourite bath time bubble treats.

It claims to be calming and softening which from my point of view it does. I was rather surprised that this bath soak overset my expectations. When pouring some of this bath soak into my bath I always pour it in over the running water so I get more bubbles. You are hit straight-away with a gorgeous aroma.

The aroma is powerful but subtle it states on the bottle "with extracts of cherry blossom and rice milk" and you can certainly smell the cherry blossom then when the aroma mellows you have hints of cherries and what I think also roses. Very relaxing and feminine.

As the bath is filling up you get lots of bubbles which when you get in the bath stays with you too, the bubbles do last for the whole bath. The water feels soft on your skin I really did just feel at ease and was really able to relax. The bubble bath gel is rather thick and a pinkish colour, you don't really need much to make a lot of bubbles.

Once I got out of the bath my skin feels extremely soft and smells divine but like with most bubble baths the scent never last on my skin. This lasted around one to two hours on my skin, though the fragrance went my skin remained soft for the whole day. My skin didn't feel dry at all, nor irritated in anyway.

This product comes in a plastic bottle and once empty can be recycled so don't forget to do your bit.

      Price and Availability:

For the 500ml bottle it only costs 84p! Excellent value for money and will serve around 8 to 10 baths maybe more.

      Overall:

Overall I'm very impressed by this bath soak, it smells wonderful, feels nice on my skin and certainly makes you feel relaxed. I've also purchased a few extra to put in as stocking fillers with presents for my friends! As you can tell I would defiantly recommend this product.

A huge five out of five stars from me.

      Thank you for reading ;o)
