It's brilliant being an Avon rep. I get to try out all the stuff before it appears in the brochure, yet heres one item I've had for ages and not got round to using it until this week that is. I've always been on the sensitive side, not just my skin you hear, but my feelings too. Then this week we had all been itching at work, so out came the most sensitive products I could find in my drawers. We put it down to stress, as it's getting worse where I work for staff leaving and having to work with minimum staff. The product I grabbed first was Avons Aqua Shower Gel in the Sensitive range. It's very basic to look at, just stands in a white clear bottle with a hook shaped handle. It's a good sized 200 ml and only cost me 99p at the time. Great to take on holiday too as it's made from heavy plastic, shouldn't smash then. To be honest I don't really shower, I tend to have a bath then squirt some onto my body and massage in with a scrunchie, this goes much further and really lathers up well. Also i have used it instead of bubble bath, just squirt some under a hot running tap and watch the froth appear, does a great job. As for the fragrance, most people say it's fragrance free, but to me it does have a smell, not too sure how to explain it, I'm not even sure if i even like it, smells peculiar. The only way I can describe it is , maybe Floral with a hint of Baby Lotion, no don't be daft Belinda. I did like the feel of it, the consistency was just nice, not too runny and not too thick, it lathered up well, and cleansed my body ok. It didn't leave me with any more blotches than I already had, even my sensitive dad can use it too. He hasn't much hair and gets Eczema on his forehead, he finds it doesn't irritate or sting him. I did feel refreshed afterwards, but then I always do when I've had a bath. It's early days to tell if my skin has gone back to nor
mal and stopped itching, but this did ease it off a little bit. The other fragrances in the range are, Citrus, a Lemon Colour Aloe, a pale green colour Marine, a Blue Colour Lavender, a Lilac Colour In brochure 6, they cost 5 for £ 5.00 or £1.75 each. Being an Avon representative I should be able to sell this to you. But to be honest I don't think I need the hard sell on this product. Avon Aqua Citrus shower gel comes in 200ml and 400ml bottles. The price can range from £1.80p for the 200ml and £3.00 for the 400ml depending on the offers that are available in the book at the time. Often there is an offer to buy 400ml bottle for the same price at the 200ml bottle or buy one and get one free. There are also half price offers on throughout the year. It?s particularly nice to use in the morning because the lemon aroma seems to wakes you up. The product itself is stimulating, refreshing and a little goes a long way. It lathers really well on both a sponge or a exfoliating scrunchie and like I said you don't need very much at all because it lathers so well. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and invigorated. The gel isn't too sticky or thick but is smooth to the touch. It is yellow in colour and the fragrance is lemony but not too overpowering. A 400ml bottle lasts me about 4 weeks - my husband has a shower every morning and I think he uses it alternate days (he uses something else on the other days he doesn't go out whiffy!!) and I use it in the bath with the kids every night. My children have never had a reaction to this product and my son likes me to sing Oranges and Lemons when I use it but that part is optional I am sure! There other fragrances in this shower gel range are Sensitive, Just for Men, Aloe and Marine all of which are just as good but Citrus is my favourite. Overall an excellent product and excellent value. Available from your local Avon Rep. or use their website at www.avon.uk.com or call 0845 3458444 for further details. Well I could say try it and think of me in the shower but best not to eh? Try it and I hope you like it - there that's a lot better. Here comes the boring bit with the ingredients:- Aqua, Laur
amidopr opyl Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Sodium Chloride, Cocamide Mea, Parfum, Propylene Gycol, Polyquarternium-2, Methylparaben, Tetrasodium Edta, Glycol Distearate, Lauryl Glucoside, Peg-15- Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Ppg-12-Butheth-16, Phosphoric Acid, Peg-6 Caprylic/Carpic Glycerides, Benzoic Acid, Magnesium Nitrate, Sodium Citrate, Alcohol Denat, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Magnesium Chloride, C1 1551-, C1 47005.

At the moment I am having a lot of fun testing new Avon products. Today I would like to introduce the 'Avon Aqua Shower Gels' range to my Dooyoo portfolio. I thought I would try these Shower Gels out as they were on special offer and I had forgotten to pack some 'everyday' shower gels to use at the gym. Well that is my excuse and I am sticking to it! Okay so the gym provides a shower/shampoo but I personally do not really like the aroma, or the fact that it is not designed for sensitive skin. Now I must get back to the subject in question, 'Avon Aqua Shower Gels' and in particular Aqua 'Sensitive' Shower Gel. In the past, I have tended to use Aqua 'Sensitive' shower gel, simply because it did not upset Shane's skin or mine. (Shane tends to suffer from Eczema and generally has sensitive skin). The un-perfumed shower gel would gently cleanse our skin without causing any unwanted irritation. This shower gel would also leave my skin feeling soft and re-hydrated instead of that tight feeling that you get from some highly scented shower gel products. Originally, these Aqua Shower Gels came in only three fragrances, 'Blue', 'Pink' and 'Sensitive' and were designed for the whole family to use. 'Blue' was introduced originally closely followed by 'Pink' and the 'Sensitive'. In the late 1990's Avon redesigned this product range, trying to bring it up to the 21st Century by changing the names of the fragrances: 'Aloe', 'For Men', 'Marine' and 'Sensitive' and also introducing new products to the range The packaging is kept simple, helping to keep the cost of this product range within a very reasonable budget, so anyone can afford it. I have even used this Avon sensitive shower gel to wash my dog Scamp, when I ran out of her tea tree shampoo! This summer Avon has also introduced a new fragrance to the shower gel rang
e; 'Citrus'. I really like this fragrance. It is fresh and exhilarating, but I have to confess though that Aqua 'Sensitive' Shower Gel still remains my favourite in this expanding body care range of Avon products. **Aroma** *Aloe* This is a fresh clean fragrance that contains the soft soothing qualities from the Aloe plants. The shower gel is green in colour. *Citrus* This is a crisp fresh fragrance with hints of grapefruits, lemon and oranges. It is a really wake-up call for tired, wiry muscles. The shower gel is yellow in colour. *For Men* This is a woody smell with a quick rinse formula designed with men in mind. The shower gel is turquoise in colour. *Marine* This is a fresh smell, which is exhilarating as a dip in the ocean! The shower gel is blue in colour. *Sensitive* This is a mild un-perfumed shower gel that is suitable for all skin types. The shower gel is clear/white in colour. It is a reasonably thick gel that produces lots of bubbles and gets the skin really clean. **Cost** A 200mls bottle of shower gel costs £1.80. A 400mls bottle of shower gel costs £3.00. This is excellent value for money as any member of the family can use these shower gels. If you wish to partake in the Aqua experience or for that matter purchase any other Avon product, then simply contact your local Avon representative. Ask for a sample of Aqua shower gel. You can also buy Avon's Aqua range online at www.avonshop.co.uk. Now you can order with confidence because if you are not happy with you purchase, then Avon will offer you a full money back refund, even if you have tried it out. That is what I call service! **For more information** Address: Avon Cosmetics Limited Earlstree Road Corby Northants NN117 4AZ Telephone number: 0845 345 844 Website: www.avon.uk.com <
