Literally the greatest smelling bath product I have ever used - officially my favourite toiletry and something which before I even review it, I would recommend to everyone.
During initial use, a few drops of this bubble bath produces a decent layer (a couple of inches) of bubbles over the entire bath. But in terms of lasting effect, there is then a problem. I can't exactly state when they dramatically start to disappear, but I take around 40-60 minute baths and the they're suds by halfway through. Personally I don't think it's the worse result you can get from a bubble bath, as you find this with a lot of products, but it does means that I can't deem this product 5 stars.
In terms of smell, it leaves your entire bathroom smelling of various berries and summer fruits (any in this range). Your bath, or skin afterwards, don't quite get the same intense amount of fragrance, but I just love bathing in a room that smells so gorgeous. It all adds to a relaxing bath and a relaxing experience - just what I want from a bath.
I bought a massive 1.5 litre bottle of this bubble bath from Avon for a pound - so you definitely can't go wrong on price. But, like most Avon products, you may have to wait a couple of issues to get the cheapest possible price for a product. But a pound definitely makes the product more than worth buying, even if it doesn't have the best staying power, you definitely get a lot for your money.
A few campaigns ago I treated myself to a bottle of Avon's Cherry Blossom bubble bath as I do like their bath products in general.
The bottle is rather less pretty in real life than it looks in the photograph above, the pink is far more subdued and I must admit I find it looks very cheap sitting amongst all my other bottles of bubble bath.
I've just had a bath in the Cherry Blossom bubble bath and it's lovely. Admittedly you have to use quite a lot to get the benefit of lots of bubbles, but this is true of all Avon bubble baths in my opinion and they are cheap to buy so it's no hardship using a little more than usual.
The scent isn't that of cherries as you might expect, rather it's a floral aroma which is subtle yet lingered in the air nicely while I was in the bath. It is a lovely sweet and light, I have just sniffed my arm (as you do!) and it's still apparent even over the unscented body lotion I used after drying myself.
This bubble bath is gentle and cleansing, after bathing my skin felt spotlessly clean. While I was in the bath I could feel that this bubble bath is moisturising, obviously not in the same league as my beloved Lush bath additives but to a much higher degree than most other Avon bubble baths. After drying my skin felt slightly softer than before my bath and I felt as though it had been well nourished during my soak.
I have had no itchiness since getting out of the bath which indicates that the bubble bath is as gentle as it's fragrance would suggest, I can sometimes have a quite speedy reaction to bath products but this one is absolutely fine, as are most Avon products if I'm honest.
I paid £2.50 for this bottle of Cherry Blossom bubble bath which is average for this Avon product, I think it's a lovely bubble bath and will certainly buy it again even though you do have to use more than average to get the bath full of bubbles that you want.
