“ Brand: Avon / Texture: Cream / Type: Shower Gel / Suitable for: Body / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types „
Such a shame this range has been discontinued from the main Avon bokk, but it pops up now and again in the sale books. The benefit of that is the price is always great, but I guess it won't keep coming up forever!
This is part of the Naturals range in Avon. This was normally priced at £3 for a 200ml bottle, but could often be found for £1 in the main book, and the same in the sale book.
The bottle is alright looking. It is a slimline bottle with a flip top lid. The bottle is see through so you can easily see how much of this you have used. The label is a stuck on wrap around one and has a tasy looking picture of a half peeled banana with a Coconut on the side.
The Gel is quite thick and you only need a little of it to go a long way on a Shower Puff. It isn't like a really sticky gel, more a creamy one.
The smell of this is lovely. You smell the Banana a lot more than the Coconut. The Banana smells ripe, creamy and nice and fresh. It smells fruity as well, which I would have expected. The Coconut scent is more a duller, a little musky scent, but a nice contrast to the Banana smell.
This cleans well, scents your skin a bit and also seems to mouisturise as well.
You can buy this scent in the Body Lotion and Room Spray, but again it only pops up now and again in the sale books.
A lovely Shower Gel, Why was it stopped? Bring it back!
I really love the scent of both bananas and coconuts so was very interested to find a bottle of Avon's Banana and Coconut Shower Gel in my Christmas stocking this year, at the time I would never have imagined putting them together but since then have tried other items in the range and whether the product is good or bad the scent is always fantastic.
This is a sweet and very fruity smelling shower gel, the banana sticks out to me more strongly than the coconut although both fragrances are certainly apparent when I am showering with both blending and lingering nicely on my skin for a while after showering.
The shower gel is of a good consistency, I find it lathers better when I use it with my natural sponge but using a scrunchie is also a good way to get a good covering of bubbles. I love how soft the lather from this shower gel is, it feels gentle and my skin feels calm and refreshed after using it, a fairly small amount of shower gel will leave my skin cleansed and moisturised so the bottle will last for a while.
I was impressed about how soft my skin felt after using this shower gel from the Naturals range, I suffer with sensitive skin and found this to be a gentle product which was kind to my skin with no hint of irritation. It also rinses off very easily and leaves me with no stickiness or residue after I get out of the shower.
The usual price for this small 200ml bottle of shower gel is £2.50, although I never pay more than £1.50 as it's very often on special offer along with the rest of the Naturals range. You can try a bottle from your Avon book or online at www.avonshop.co.uk and there are a variety of other products with the same fragrance if you like it as much as I do!
I love getting my Avon products however as a rule I normally tend to stick to the same stuff so its not that exciting when I get them because I don't have that many new things to try, however in my last order, I went a little bit mad and got carried away and spent in excess of £40 with my local Avon rep which is quite a lot in comparison to what I normally spent, and majority of the things that I purchased were new items that I had never used before just to see what they were like.
I went mad on the Avon Naturals range and didn't just buy this product but quite a few from the range however this has become my favourite. I have used the Naturals range before but never stuck to them, the various fragrances have been nice and I would buy again but nothing in comparison to the Naturals Banana and Coconut Shower Gel, in fact the whole range in this particular fragrance as it is such a nice smell. The combination of the Banana and Coconut as you probably can imagine is very sweet however their is not one particular that overpowers the other and when you use this shower gel it leaves you bathroom smelling of the fragrance for sometime after.
The Shower Gel is only a small container with a flip top and a small hole for you to squeeze it out. I have found that it doesn't seem to last that long as I use so much of it because it smells so good, but needless to say it creates a great lather no matter how much you actually use, I just go a little bit mad with it. It is yellow in colour with like a pearlescent tinge to it when you squeeze it into your hands and as you rub it into your skin when showering it feels very soft and smooth on the skin and after showering my skin feels really soft and smells great because the frangrance really sticks. I have also founbd that I have not had to use Body Lotion which I always do after showering because my skin is soft and I smell really edible.
More often that not you find the Naturals collection on offer within the avon catalogue and this particular product only cost me £1.25 as it was reduced in the catalogue that I ordered from. There are various different products in each range and they also do the same products in different fragrances which I am trying at the moment.
This one is definite to buy from this particular range from Avon.
