Two Main Points Here:
Avon Naturals Pomegranate and Mango Refreshing Shower Gel smells lovely.
Avon naturals shower gels are great value for money!
You can get these for just one pound each well done Avon now that's what I call a deal!
These naturals by Avon are easy to use and gentle on the skin in the shower or bath. They can be bought from Avon online or via a represenitive or even on sites such as eBay brand new.
The idea of the whole naturals range is basically beauty made cheap! I don't really know any shower gels for a pound that make you clean and smell as beautiful as these ranges do.
This one smells really sweet with a blend of Pomegranate and Mango its such a good one to get your senses going, a sensual smell with a natural effect to the skin, its perfect for a waking shower or even a night time bath. I have had mine for a month now and really I smell gorgeous after a shower!
The most disappointing thing is to use a shower gel and then it not even smell at all after using it. This has the opposite effect.
My favourite scent out the whole range the smell its best feature.
Its all-natural ingredients these are usually the most soothing on the skin leaving it soft. Easy to use and lasts a long time it's cheap enough to buy and has great results. It left my skin very soft and smooth for a while after using it and really lives up to its name by the natural ingredients. I will buy this one again, the bottle is a natural looking bottle with the pomegranate on the front and a mango the colour of the shower gel just makes me instantly like it's natural look. You can also get this shower gel in an Avon gift sets which is a bonus if you enjoyed this product alone. 200ml bottle should last you a while and if I'm feeling greedy I sometimes buy two. For a pound you really cant be picky with this luscious lather! The ranges also come in Banana and Coconut!
This was another item I brought when Avon had their Naturals stuff for sale for 99p. I like some shower gels from Avon but not all of them and I'm not mad keen on the Naturals ones at all but I liked the sound of a Pomegranate & Mango smelling one.
It smells proper nice and it's stronger than a lot of the shower gels in Avon. It's a dead fruity smell and I think the pomegranate comes out more than the mango because its a red fruit smell if that makes sense but the soapy sweet smell of the mango is there underneath it makeing the shower gel sweeter and nearly good enough to eat!
It lathers good and you only need a bit the size of a penny on a scrunchie to get a good amount of bubbles to wash with. I thought the shower gel was a bit thin at first but it's like Fairy liquid and gives you so many bubbles that you wonder where they've all come from!
I thought my skin felt loads cleaner when I'd used this compared to when I've used other shower gels from the Naturals pages in the Avon book. It doesn't do a lot to soften my skin but for 99p I didn't expect it to be very moisturizing but it didn't dry my skin out like a lot of Avon shower stuff does.
I liked how much the smell stayed on my skin and I could still smell it 3 hours later and I'd been out of the house in the wind by then so that was a surprise! It's when you're out of the shower and have dried yourself that the mango smell comes a bit stronger but even then it's not as good as the mango smelling stuff you can buy from the Body SHop or that wicked Mango bath melt Lush sells.
Well, I don't normally have a bubble bath as I never have time to relax, but when I do I always opt for a 'shower gel' rather than an actual 'bubble bath' as I prefer the smell and find it more relaxing. When flicking upon my Avon catalougue I saw this on special offer for just 99p so thought I'd order some-the smell is delicous and really sweet! It makes you smell lovely throughout the day when used as a shower gel and is so relaxing when used as a bubble bath, it is a highly versatile product and smells simply delicous and fills the whole room with fragance!
The product is an Avon shower gel, I have the one above, the pomegranate and mango one, these do however come in various different flavours all smelling good enough to eat! However it could look better with just a few changes to it and that would make it look more appealing!
The packaging is pretty plain and simple, but it works, with pictures of the fruits on it and reading Avon NATURALS. Also the packaging is clear so you can see the lovely deep red colour through it.
The scent of this is absoloutley gorgeous, it is sweet, fresh and fruity! It fills the whole bathroom with this lovely smell and the smell stays with you all day, so wherever you go you are staying fresh all day!
When I bought mine it was on special offer for just 99p, they are normally £3 or £2, but in Avon things are nearly always on offer, so you won't probably end up playing the full price, or sometimes they are on 3 for 2.
My experience with the product has been great, I really love the smell and it leaves your skin feeling lovely and soft! The great thing is that the smell stays with you all day and doesn't wear off through the day like loads of other shower gels do. The only bad thing about this product is that the bottle isn't great and could look better!
I bought this out of the last Avon book where it was going for a great price of 99p for a 200ml bottle. I think this Shower Gel normally costs about £2, but being Avon it is on offer every other time. Unfortunately this was the last this was available in the main Avon book for now, but who knows if it will pop up in the future, and i'm sure it will be in the sale book now and again.
I like the Naturals Collection from Avon, as they are fruity and fresh smelling. Just the thought of Pomegranate and Mango made me think of ripe fruit, so I opened this last night and have to say I wished I had stocked up a bit more.
The design of the bottle is alright. It looks smart enough, and nicer than the Senses bottles which I think look a bit cheap. This is a circular shaped bottle that is thick enough and quite tall. It has a little flip lid and is easy enough to open and use. There is a wrap around label and there is a nice picture of a Pomegranate with a bit Mango on the side.
The smell of this is lovely. I would say you smell the Pomegranate more than the Mango. There is a slighty earthy scent to this, and with the citrus scent of the Mango makes a good scent.
The gel is quite thick and you only need a little amount of this to make a good lather. It foams up well and moisturises your skin slightly while giving it a nice scent.
I've bought the body lotion and room spray in this scent and am happy enough to report that all smell lovely and I recommend you to try if you see this in Avon at some point.
I recently bought this shower gel from the Avon brochure, as I adore other fragranced shower gels from the Avon naturals range, and this gel was a new product recently launched. Also, I adore mango, particularly for bath and shower gel products, so I was quite excited that Avon had chosen the "Pomegranate and Mango" option for their new naturals fragrance.
The shower gel comes in a clear plastic bottle, which is 200ml in size. The top of the bottle has a flip up cap, under which is a nozzle. The shower gel can be squeezed through the nozzle, then the flip cap replaced. I find this lid/nozzle design to be really quite good and it doesn't cause as many spillages as other bottle designs.
The shower gel cost £1.50 for the 200ml bottle, although this was a special offer. The normal brochure price is £2.50. The Avon naturals range is on offer regularly, sometimes the products can be on a "choose 5 for £5" deal, so I tend to use this to my advantage and gather a bit of a stockpile!
When the shower gel arrived amidst the rest of my Avon order, I was instantly impressed by the colour of the product, which is clearly visible through the see-through bottle. The colour looks very rich, a sort of deep reddish-colour. I popped open the cap to have a whiff of the scent, and was blown away by how delicious smelling it was. It is just such a fresh, fruity scent, and isn't overpowering at all, nor is it sickly or too strongly perfumed.
When using the shower gel, I notice that it lathers nicely onto my cloth and when applied directly to my skin it isn't too soapy or difficult to rinse off. The shower gel leaves my skin lightly perfumed and scented, but this scent doesn't last for too long after I've bathed/showered. This isn't necessarily a fault, I'm not sure I'd want to walk around all day smelling fruity!
I have also noticed that after using the shower gel, my skin is nicely softened, although I wouldn't say the product moisturises my skin so much that there is no need for me to apply body lotion. This, however, is on a par with other shower gels, and the shower gel makes no claims about moisturising skin.
My only gripe with this product is that I'd prefer the packaging to be like other shower gel bottles I use on a regular basis, instead though, this one has no plastic hook and therefore cannot be hung onto my bath or shower. It obviously has to be free-standing which is a bit of a pest, as I've already got too many bottles dotted around the bath! I think it just looks tidier and neater if bottles like this can be hung to the side. For this design flaw, and that's what it is in my opinion at least, I'm deducting one star.
That said, it wouldn't put me off from buying this shower gel, I'm smitten with it because it's so gorgeous!
There are other products available in the range, like a hair shampoo and a linen and room spray, but I haven't tried these. I might have to investigate them next time there's a good offer on the naturals range though!
I'd definitely recommend this if you like fruity scented bath and shower products, as it's really reasonable value given the good quality of the product.
In the last Avon brochure I purchased this shower gel as part of the buy any 5 naturals products for £5.00. I decided on the pomegranate and mango as it sounded fruity and refreshing. In the past I have tried the black cherry shower gel and I loved it so decided to opt for this one.
The pomegranate and mango shower gel comes in a clear 200ml bottle. The gel inside is a lovely pinky red colour. The bottle has a picture of a pomegranate and mango on the font. It looks pretty basic but natural.
The first thing I noticed about the gel was the smell. It was very fruity and strong. The gel is of medium constituency and lathers up well. You only need a small amount to make a big lather. After washing the gel made lots of bubbles in the bath and I could still smell the gorgeous pomegranate and mango.
After the bath my skin felt lovely and soft, although the scent didn't linger.
There are many offers each campaign with Avon so when the products are on special it is worth stocking up. Individually one of these shower gels costs £2.50. I think this is worth it considering it does last a long time, and has a lovely scent. The shower gel is also available in:
Black cherry and nutmeg
Strawberry and guava
Banana and coconut
There are also many other products from the naturals range including body lotion, shampoo and conditioner and body yoghurts.
I think this is a lovely shower gel. I know there is other cheaper brands out there that probably do just as good a job but with Avon you don't have to go round the shops looking. It can all be ordered and delivered for you. I would definitely take advantage when the offers are on though as when buying in a bundle you can sometimes pick these up for a quid each.
