“ Brand: Avon / Type: Body Scrub / Suitable for: Body / What it does: Exfoliates, „
This is one of my most favourite scrubs ever and I am so annoyed it's been discontinued in Avon books, I now have to get it off eBay! I have tried most variations and my favourites are the Orange Sunset one and Lagoon.
The packaging is a simple squeezy bottle which is very easy to use and can get the right amount out each time, the lids are very secure and I never worry about them leaking when carrying them in my bag. They really stand out in the bathroom because they are such bright colours too.
The actual scrub is a clear coloured gel (depending on colour the bottle is) with small and big beads of scrub inside and there are a lot of these, they are not too sparse at all which is how I love my scrubs, really strong and harsh on the skin. I use this all over my body and use Soap & Glory hand mitts for an even srubbier scrub down to feel extra squeaky clean and be sure I've washed all the dirt of the day off me (a bit ocd...). I wouldn't say it's great at lathering up but a little goes a long way without the scrubbing beads being too sparse again so you don't need much at all.
The smells of each one are really pleasant, I especially love the orange one as it's really refreshing, I have used most of them but don't use the red one called 'Hollywood' as it's a bit boring for me. The smell is great and lingers for a little while after your shower/bath but is not overpowering and fades quite quickly but this is good as it doesn't mix with my perfume.
My favourite thing about this scrub is doesn't leave me feeling at all greasy or sticky which I find is a problem with most other body washes and scrubs I use, particularly around my neck, shoulders and back. The scrub helps exfoliate these places really well keeping spots away, I alternate using the scrub and Body Shops Tea Tree Body Wash to help this too.
Even though I do use it most days it lasts a really long time and is only about £3.50 a bottle, I can't remember how much it was in Avon but I'm guessing about the same or more. The only problem is you can see through the bottle meaning you don't know how much is left which can be annoying.
I'd definitely recommend this product to everyone especially people who have oily/blemished skin or like harsh scrubs. If you have sensitive skin I'd recommend you only use it a few times a week which will also make it last longer which is great. Worth the price!
Avon Senses Body Scrub
A while ago I felt like buying some new body scrubs. I hadn't tried this range before although they do generally catch my eye whenever I'm flicking through the brochure. I decided to treat myself.
The flavours you can buy this in are:
The flavours I chose were tropics and sunset.
"Stimulating and exotic" the fragrance of this scrub is quite zangy and smells like passion fruit and mango. It comes in a green bottle which I think is quite nice although I prefer the designs of the other two bottles. I love the smell of this and it is very refreshing when having a bath or shower.
"zesty and energising" it is described in the brochure. I agree with this description as it is a really lively sort of fragrance. It smells gorgeous, like oranges. I really like the smell and definitely recommend it. It is my favourite smell out of all the fragrances. It comes in an orange bottle which I think looks very nice in the bathroom.
If you want to buy...
They will be back in the brochures this summer, and they usually cost normal price £2.85 although Avon does have a lot of offers on so I'm sure you'll find them cheaper like I did - I got mine for only 99p each.
The texture of this is very exfoliating and does my skin the world of good. I love using them and think they work brilliantly. I definitely recommend them, they are excellent quality and value for money. There is 200ml in the tubes as well which is loads and they last me ages.
Definitely recommended x
I was not particularly looking for a body scrub before buying this product; god knows I didn't need one. However, it was on offer at the time and I cannot resist a bargain.
I purchased Avon's Recharge Body Scrub direct from my local Avon representative, however it is also available online. The current price is £1.80, but as with all Avon products, prices do seem to change regularly depending on what offers are on at the time.
I would like to mention at this point that since my purchase, Avon have restyled the packaging across the whole Senses line. However, I am lead to believe that the products themselves remain the same, please correct me on this if I am wrong.
The 'Mandarin and Spice' body scrub is contained in a clear 200ml plastic tube, complete with orange lid. On the tube is the usual brightly coloured Senses graphics.
Avon make no claims on the packaging, in fact, there is very little writing at all. On the back of the tube is an ingredients list, and directions for use in various different languages.
Avon say 'Massage into damp skin and rinse off'. As usual, very little instruction, but using a body scrub is pretty straight forward so a long detailed paragraph is not required in this case.
I absolutely love the smell of this product, it is really fruity, just what you need to wake up on a dark, winters morning.
The scrub itself is pretty thick, but does rub into the skin easily. It contains small beads to exfoliate the skin. It lathers well with only a small amount of the product required.
When using this product, I apply it direct to a exfoliating glove, to get rid of dead skin. However, this works equally well if applied with a sponge, or just using your hands.
My skin feels lovely and smooth after using this, and I feel nice and refreshed. The scrub leaves a slight fruity smell on the skin, not overpowering at all.
This product is a pleasure to use, and I will be purchasing it again in the future.
Why I bought this product:
I was looking for a cheap and affective body scrub to exfoliate my skin.
What does the product promise?
It promises to clear dead skin cells, leaves your body feeling soft and moisture.
Where can I buy this product?
You can buy this product from you local AVON representive of you can log online to AVONs website and order from there.
At the moment this product is selling for £1.80. It is normally £3 but I have seen it on sale for £1 although you do have to be very lucky to find it at this price as it only happens about twice a year.
I would advice that if you do have an AVON rep to ask them if they could check there other brochure e.g. the one before or after the book they have given you and ask if they could order the cheapest for you. If like me you're representive would want to get their customers the best price for the product. Ask nicely and you could bag yourself a bargain.
Comes in a 200ml bottle and also in three different colours and scents, listed below:
Lagoon ~ blue
Sunset ~ orange
Tropics ~ light green
Since the picture of the product has been added the design of the product has been changed. It is now brightly coloured, non see through, exciting with exotic picture on the font that reminds me of Hawaii.
The body scrub is to be massaged into wet or damp skin. Do not rub on to dry skin as this will leave you skin irritated and sore. The gels consistency is thick which helps the beads move around more easily to clear away your dead skin cells.
I use this product on my arms, legs, n bottom with an exfoliating glove as it is known to get rid of and keep cellulite away. It is also good for preparing your body before pulling on fake tan to get even coverage.
You only need a small amount as it goes a long way when it lathers up. My bottle has lasted me 3 months and I have still got quite a bit left.
I would recommend this product to everyone that it interested in it as it is not only cheap, does its job but it smells great. It isn't a strong fragrance, but it's a very clean, refreshing fragrance. It smells kind of zingy. The fragrance stays on your skin for a while after you've used the body scrub which is nice as it kind of gives you your own signature smell without like some perfumes being kind of sticky.
Excellent product and would rate 10/10. It is a must try.
If you have already purchased this product and you do not like you can ask you're representive to send it back even if it has been opened. You will be fully refunded as long as it is less than 30 days since you ordered it.
I really enjoying making my way through the Avon catalogue and I enjoying finding a fantastic offer that I can't miss! Avon have many offers in each of their brochures and they're usually fantastic value. I found the Avon Senses Body Scrubs in a 'buy one, get one free' offer and I just had to try them out.
.::Avon Brand & Avon Senses::.
Avon was set up a long, long time ago. It initially started off as a door-to-door service with an Avon Representative delivering the brochure, picking it up, placing the order and then finally return to your door with your order! It has now expanded to cover the internet where you can also order Avon products. Many of the products are bath & beauty, you can also find lingerie, toys and jewellery in the brochure. All the products are of high quality.
A popular range of bath products is the Avon Sense collection. Included in this range are roll-on deoderants, shower gels, liquid soaps, shower cremes and the product I am reviewing; body scrubs.
Here is a link to the entire Senses range: http://avonshop.co.uk/beauty/b/bath-and-bodycare/senses.html
.::What is it?::.
Avon Senses Body Scrub is basically a gel based body wash that has little beads in it to aid exfoliation. They come in three different 'Senses': Sunset, Tropics and the one I purchased; Lagoon. (I know DooYoo say they come in 'Get Ready', 'Fantastic Day' and 'Re-charge', but Avon must have updated the range since they appeared on DooYoo).
The product comes in a tube, similar to the ones shown in the picture on DooYoo, but not see through. The lip is a flip cap, making it easy to use in the shower.
- Scent: This isn't a strong fragrance, but it's a really clean, refreshing fragrance (as described on the packaging of the product). It smells quite zingy and would really wake you up in morning, but pleasantly rather than with a blast of fruitiness like other bath products. The fragrance stays on your skin for a while after you've used the fragrance, but as you would expect it isn't very strong. You have to be right up close to smell it. Overall, it's a delightful scent which I really enjoy.
- Using the body scrub: Avon tell you to massage on damp skin, which is exactly what I do. I think if you used it on dry skin, it would just be sore. The gel is of a really thick consistency which I really liked as it helped the exfoliating beads stay on the skin. With other exfoliating products like this, I've found that the gel is of an incredibly thin consistency so that the beads just slide off and can't work their magic! A downfall of this is that it does take a little while to rinse off at the end of your shower. I also really liked that the beads in this scrub were actually quite big and harder than previous scrubs I've used. I've used previous scrubs with tiny beads that just don't do anything whereas the Avon Senses Scrub does its job perfectly. It also foams up really easily, it's a really impressive scrub. It lasts for ages too, I've had mine for at least 2 months and although I don't use it every day, I do use quite a lot.
- Ease of use: This is where the product loses a star or two. The bottle is made of quite a flimsy plastic and somehow doesn't seem to fill up with air again when you squeeze some out. This means it's incredibly difficult to get any of the scrub out if you've got less than half left. Also, if the bottle's wet, it's even harder!
- Results: I use this on my arms as they tend to get quite spotty (something to do with not getting enough of the right kind of fat) and after one use, most of them have disappeared. I have used it on the rest of my body and it left my skin feeling really smooth. It is one of the best body scrubs I've ever used.
It's an amazing scrub, which delivers results and smells great. I like it's thick consistency, which really helped the beads do their job. It's cheap (£3) and is regularly on offer, so it's a good wee buy. I just think the bottle lets it down really badly, it's so frustrating trying to get the scrub out in the shower. It drives you mad.
I like the Senses body scrubs because they are cheap and cheerful and scrub my skin clean but are gentle as well.
There are 3 of them but they have been updated since Dooyoo put this category up and the ones you can get are Sunset,Lagoon and Tropics. I have got them all and think they are wicked for the price because they only cost £2.00 usually on special offer.
They all smell nice and light and the smells lasts a bit on my skin after I've been in the shower. The scrub is easy to rinse off and all the bits dissolve in the warm water so you don't end up with dried bits of salt down your bra all day!
They all make my skin feel proper clean and refreshed and my skin doesn't feel all dry and stretched after even though it's not right moisturinsing on its own.
The different ones are:-
This one smells very fresh and is a lovely blue colour. Its the thickest one out of all of them and this one is the one that makes me feel the most clean. It smells salty and a bit like the seaside an is very refreshing in the morning.
This is a flowery smell and is a bit zesty as well. It's quite thin but it is still very cleansing and rinses off dead quick. The smell of this lingers for quite a long time on my skin and it's not the best smell and is a bit stale I think.
This one smells a bit fruity and it does smell a bit tropical. It's a proper sunny smell and makes me feel clean and dead refreshed when I have a scrub with it.
They're all wicked I think and don't scratch my skin but still make me feel nice and clean. You only need a tiny bit every time you use it so a tube lasts for ages and I reckon even the full price of £3.00 is good but it's always on offer so there's no need to ever pay that and I don't think I ever have had to pay the full amount!
I recently discovered the benefits of exfoliating your body after purchasing exfoliating gloves. To get extra soft skin, I usually team them up with a body scrub. I saw the Avon Senses Body Scrub on offer for £2 and bought it in Lagoon. The description said 'Water fruits and pear', so I was expecting maybe apple/pear/fruit.
You get a lot in the bottle, and as it foams up well, a lot isn't needed to exfoliate with. I usually put a ten pence piece sized amount on my exfoliating glove and that's more than enough. The consistancy is basically like any other normal shower gel but with tiny blue beads in. The beads aren't too harsh on the skin, but are big enough to scrub away dead skin. It foams up really well and the smell does linger on the skin for a few hours.
Used alone, it is still very effective. Dead skin is buffed away leaving ultra smooth and soft skin.
The smell, which is probably my favourite thing about this product, is like watermelons. It's not too strong, but strong enough to leave a scent on the skin.
I'm really interested in getting the other fragrances but I'm fairly fussy and don't like citrus things, so if anyone could recommend another Senses Body Scrub that isn't citrus, I would appreciate it.
I'd recommend this. The full price I think is £3, which honestly, i'm a cheap skate, I wouldn't pay that much for a scrub. I'd just use my exfoliating gloves. But if it's on offer again, I'll definitely pick up another tube.
It's not often I use a body scrub as I find the very irritating on my sensitive body skin, recently however I have pottering around in the garden and you know how grimy this leaves your skin feeling so I decided I needed something to give me a deep clean and bring some life back to the skin especially on my shoulders and legs.
I mentioned this to my sister, who is also my Avon lady, and she said she had just the thing for me at home. She knows I adore the Lagoon range and had been given some Lagoon Body Scrub as part of a bonus from Avon after selling lots of bottles of their new perfume. Despite being an energetic Avon lady she is not really one for pampering herself so was happy to pass the scrub on to me.
It comes in a nice wide tube, the scrub is easy to squeeze out and I have had no problems despite being almost at the bottom of my tube now. I love the fresh almost salty fragrance of the body scrub, as with the rest of the range it puts me in mind of the Big Blue ballistic from Lush although this is obviously cheaper and not so strongly scented.
The scrub is a light aqua colour and looks to be of just the right consistency, there are large salt crystals in the scrub and it looks very pretty indeed.
The scrub is incredibly gentle, I think perhaps some people will find the exfoliating effect lacking but for my sensitive skin it was ideal. The salt dissolves quite quickly when I rub it across my skin yet I can feel it sloughing off the dirt and grime and I think it's certainly effective in smoothing my skin and getting rid of any muck, my skin felt smooth and wasn't irritated at all by the mildly scratchy effects of the scrub.
Afterwards I used the Lagoon shower gel and this easily removed any residue from the salt crystals leaving my skin beautifully clean and refreshed. I was impressed at how cleansed my skin felt after using this, obviously I always feel clean after showering but when using this I really do feel as though my skin has had a deep clean and I get the feeling that it's glowing although in reality it isn't!
I had absolutely no ill effects from using this scrub; no itching, irritation or soreness and this is a small miracle as scrubs definitely do not agree with me as a rule. I am impressed and shall continue to buy this scrub, there are several other varieties in the range which I haven't sampled but my sister informs me they are good sellers so they must be equally good. Incidentally, I did request a category for the Lagoon scrub specifically but Dooyoo came back with a link to this section so please bear in mind that this is just one product in the range and I cannot possibly comment on the others.
A 200ml tube costs £3 from the Avon book which I think is good value really as you only need to use a very small amount a couple of times a week, the tube has so far lasted me well over a month and I think there is probably another weeks worth in there. I believe it is often on special offer too so it's worth looking out for promotional prices before committing yourself to paying full price.
This product has undergone a slight makover since the picture above was taken.
The names have changed but the colours have stayed the same so I assume its just a re-branding exercise.
I selected the Sunset (energising) and Lagoon (clean & refreshing) I know you do have to go out on a bit of a limb with avon products as you can't always give them a sniff before you buy them - but I hoped from the outline in the book that I would like them.
The sunset one was really orangy and smelt really luxiourious. The lagoon one is hard to describe - it reminds me of cucumber in some ways - but certainly doesn't bring clean and refreshing to mind.
The body scrub contains small beads which are quite synthetic feeling. There doesn't seem to be may beads held in the gel , which is quite runny so I'm not sure if when I get to the end of the tube I will find lots of beads left - I'll update the review if I find out.
However it is quiete effective as my skin does feel softer and smoother after using them. As with all body scrubs you do have to make sure you rinse off well - those beads have a habit of cropping up in all sorts of knooks and crannies.
Not sure I would go out of my way to buy it again but if it is on special offer I would probably buy the zesty one - wouldn't bother with the refreshing version
The avon range sences have a good selection of shower gels aswell as exfoliating body scrubs, the body scrubs are available in lagoon body scrub which contains vitamin E and sea kelp extracts to keep your skin healthy, sunset which has a neutral ph and contains vitamin e and tropical smelling.
I have tryed all 3, tropical smelling is my least favorite and sun set is my favorite, sunset smells very much of citrus fruits, oranges and lemons which is a lovely fresh and refreshing smell, it doesnt agitate my skin and exfoliates well.
There is a nice consistency to the scrub that is thick enough for it not to run through your fingers yet is still thin enough to later up easily which you dont get with most exfoliating scrubs, the little bits in it are small but exfoliate well as there are a lot of them and it leaves my skin feeling very smooth, no rough patches and is great for removing any dry skin, as with most exfoliators it leaves the skin feeling even tones and dry to the touch.
I wouldnt recomend using in the bath though as it makes the bottom of your bath very gritty.
It is usually £3 for 200ml but is on special offer at the moment at £2
The senses range was re-branded a few months ago. They have changed the names of the kinds of senses, but the smells seem to have stayed the same.
I don't use a Shower Scrub everytime i'm in the shower, moreso once a week or fortnight. A shower scrub is basically a shower gel with some gritty bits in it. I use shower gels with a body puff, but with SHower Scrub I find you have to rub this into your skin directly, as if you put it on a puff, then you lose the gritty bits within the puff.
What ones do you get in the range?
Sunset - Grapefruit and Mandarin
Lagoon - Water Fruit and Pearl
Tropics - Passion Fruit and Mango
Each tube is 200ml. It costs £3 normally for this, but is half price in the current book. Every other book there is an offer on the Senses range.
The tube design is standard for the product. It is colourful and depending on what one you buy depends on the colour, Sunset - Yellow, Lagoon - Blue, Tropics - Green.
Do they smell any good? Yes. They smell fruity, refreshing and I think the smell fits the wording. Sunset smells warming and citrussy, Lagoon smells sea like and Tropics smells fruty as well.
Do they work? Yes. They scent your skin, moisturise and cleanse well. The grit helps with any rough parts, especially good on your feet.
A worthwhile buy, especially when on offer
The Avon Senses range is a popular range of bath products suitable for everyday use. As part of this range Avon produce a series of body scrubs designed to exfoliate and energise your skin. Although these products are suitable for every day use I personally choose to use my Senses Body Scrub once a week, occasionally twice, to exfoliate my skin rather than for an everyday wash.
You can buy this scrub in a range of aromas including Sunset, which is a zesty citrus formula that energises, Tropics, which is a more exotic scent than Sunset that is designed to stimulate and Lagoon which is a clean scent designed to feel refreshing. The range updates frequently so do be sure to check with your Avon representative or by visiting the website every now and again to see what is presently on offer.
At the moment I am using the Senses Sunset Body Scrub and find it does an excellent job of giving my skin a buff and polish. It is a nice smooth, thick gel formula with a good dose of exfoliating beads. It feels gritty enough to do the job for which it is intended without feeling too harsh or abrasive on the skin. There isn't one single scent in this range that I wouldn't happily use though Sunset is my preferred choice because I like citrus scents. The most popular scent with my customers is Tropics though.
At £3 for a 200ml tube this is excellent value for money. The tubes are upright with the dispenser at the bottom so you use the whole of each tube easily and the recent flip-top caps make things easier than ever. I use mine once or twice a week and find that a tube easily lasts me for three or four months at a time. In brochure 14 this product is on offer at £2.25 a tube so I highly recommend giving it a try while it's on offer at this special price. For an even bigger bargain you can try the now discontinued Get Ready scent from the brochure 14 sale booklet for £1.75 as this will give you a good feel of the product even if it isn't the most recent available scent.
Whenever the Avon brochure comes through our door my mum and I always race to get it to see what new bargains or products we can find. They always seem to do a large number of offers in every brochure and I somehow find myself buying things I really don't need all the time! Last time the brochure arrived on our door mat I promised myself I wasn't going to splurge on something as I really couldn't justify any more bath or beauty products...or so I thought...
Most of you will have heard of Avon but for those of you that haven't it was set up back in 1886 when an American businessman decided to sell perfumes door to door. The company then grew and the Avon name was coined in 1939 before it arrived over in the UK in 1959. They specialise in a wide range of bath and beauty products and quite recently have also introduced accessories and underwear lines into their brochures. Sadly Avon isn't available to buy in shops which they argue keeps their prices lower. Instead you can order it through their catalogue which is hand delivered to the majority of areas in the UK or alternatively off their online shopping site www.avonshop.co.uk.
The body scrub is part of the Avon Senses range which was introduced to the brochure and website a couple of years ago. The aim of this range was to provide affordable products that could be using in baths and showers for both men and women. There's also a shower gel, a hand wash and a bubble bath in the range that I've used before and have always been pleased with. Prices for the range tend to be quite cheap, around £2 - £3 per product depending on its size.
The body scrub currently comes in two different fragrances, Get Ready which is advertised as having a fresh aquatic scent to it and Re-Charge which has a mandarin and spice fragrance to it. The particular one that I'm reviewing at this point in time is the Get Ready one which has a light blue colour and is quite summery looking. In the hand wash and shower gel ranges there are several other fragrances so time will tell whether this product will always grow further.
The body scrub comes in a clear plastic tube with a blue or orange lid depending on the fragrance you opt for. The lid is circular and means the tube can stand upright on any flat surface as well as offering easy access to the product by simply flipping open the lid - always ideal when you've got wet hands and really can't be doing with unscrewing a screw on lid! The tube itself has the Avon brand name at the top, a circular picture representing the name of the fragrance and some details about the product below this. All in all the packaging is effective and looks nice in my shower!
The body scrub has a really fresh smell to it and actually smells quite nice. To look at it it's a light blue gel with small white bits in it which are the exfoliating beads. When you dispense a little out onto your hand it retains its gel like consistency and spreads a little, showing the exfoliating grains off better. The directions suggest that you massage the scrub into wet skin for the best result as this will gently exfoliate off or remove any dead layers of skin and leave fresh skin remaining.
And so what did I think of this body scrub? Well my first concern was the quantity and size of the exfoliating grains; they seem quite to be big and there doesn't seem to be many of them either. However when you actually dispense the product on either your hand or an exfoliating glove and massage it into your skin, the beads almost seem to disperse into several smaller particles and makes it feel like a much better exfoliator than one with very few grains particles in.
As for the positives there were plenty, the smell was absolutely lovely and really woke me up in the morning, it also lingered in my bathroom after I'd had a shower and was quite pleasant. The scrub really did lather up quite well as in the past any exfoliators I've used have been more clay like and not really lathered up at all, however this one really did lather up well and my skin not only felt exfoliated after usage but also much cleaner than it had on previous occasions.
I will certainly be using this product again; I've used it twice so far and have been left with really soft skin that felt fresh and moisturised. It's ideal to use in conjunction with fake tan as it removes any old fake tan off my skin and leaves me with a clean base to start building it up again, and also avoids the orange peel effect that often comes a couple of days after applying layers of fake tan.
As I've already mentioned I've only used this product twice and you can hardly tell I've used it at all to look at the tube. Using this twice weekly as I seem to be doing I reckon a tube will easily last me a couple of months and there's no need to use shower gel after it as you often need to do with other more clay based exfoliators which don't actually clean your skin.
The body scrubs are priced at £3.00 for 200ml but the moment there's an offer on the website where you can buy any four products from the Senses range for only £5, an absolute bargain! The brochure and website nearly always has offers on where you can buy one and get one free or buy a certain amount for a reduced price so I'll definitely be stocking up in future.
Thanks for reading!
I love buying products that compliment each other and being a regular user of Avon Senses Shower Gel, I love buying the Body Scrub in the same fragrances too.
I kind of use the shower gel as bubble bath occasionally as it gives of the same effect as the bubble bath does anyway, however with showering more often, it seems sensible to purchase the shower gel instead of both.
The Avon Senses range hasn't been around for a long time, introduced the Avon ranges probably around two years ag and it always seems to be a range that I keep stocked up on and to be honest I have told my Avon lady if I order any make sure that I really want it because I think I am getting to the stages where I have cupboards full of the various fragrances as I like to keep her in business and seem to stock up on the limited edition fragrances.
The range consists of shower gel, bubble bath, liquid soap, body scrub and now they have introduced a body spray. The used to have soap to however discontinued it which disappointed me because I used to like to use the same fragrances of all the same products at the same time and also liked the purple one because it matched my bathroom.
The Body Scrub comes in three different fragrances, which is good, however the senses shower gel comes in around eight fragrances so you can't always use the same one to compliment the shower gel. The product itself comes in a plastic tube like container which is transparent so you are able to see the contents inside. When you open the tube, it has a small hole in the top so you are able to squeeze out the product in the palm off your hand. The smell of the products is very nice, as with most Avon products, the smell is very satisfying and makes you want to use it straight away.
I always like to exfoliate because I use fake tan sometimes and not exfoliating leaves a patchy tan. Whe you squeeze the product into your hand it is quite thick in consistency and you can see little bits within it that act as the exfoliator. When you rub it into you skin, it does build up quite a lather to be honest which surprised me as you don't normally get that with exfoliators and whe you rub it in that when you start to feel the gritty grains within the substance.
It works a treat, the product is great and for a very good price. Avon Senses leave my skin feeling silky soft and when uses fake tan, has it done its job, yes it has, it has removed all dead skin cells and my tans looks flawless with no patches on any area of my body.
The Avon Senses range are normally on offer within the catalogue, either half price or 3 products for £5. Normally singley they retail at £2.50 for a 250ml tube.
I love it, in fact I love the whole range, wish they would bring back the soap though and introduce the body scrub in the whole fragrance range.
Three senses to choose from: Get Ready, Fantastic Day and Re-charge!
