“ Brand: Avon / Texture: Cream / Type: Shower Gel / Suitable for: Body / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types „
I wasn't going to get this shower gel as for some reason I thought this would smell like Cough Medicine. Not really sure why, but that was the image in my head. I was tempted when this was on offer for 99p and I ended up getting it thinking if I didn't like it then it wouldn't have cost a fortune and no doubt my gran would like it if I didn't.
This is part of the Senses range from Avon. This is mostly Shower Gels but there is now some Roll on Deodorants, and the Liquid Soap is quite good as well.
I've never thought the bottles for these are particularly nice. They look a bit cheap and at £2 for a 250ml bottle and £3 for the 500ml bottle they are average priced. More often than not they are on a special offer. The bottle looks like the Dooyoo picture. A clear plastic bottle with red label on the front and back. The flip top bottle is easy enough to open even with wet hands but i've used easier ones.
This is quite thick and a little goes a long way. When opened this smells pertty fruity, cinnamon-y and that bit wintery. It didn't smell like Cough medicine and although it was a more rich scent than what I would normally go for, it was nice enough. I wouldn't use it a lot and this is more a Christmas Winter Shower Gel that pops up in the books around this time of year.
Makes a nice enough change from my fresh and fruity Shower Gels and worth a try especially when it is on an offer.
Try it and you may be surprised.
I bought this shower gel from Avon around Christmas time last year, it cost me 99p from the brochure, although I think its normal price was something like £2.
I chose to buy it because I needed a shower gel, and this one appealed to me because we were in the cold Winter months and the warm looking design on the bottle looked so lovely compared to the wet, freezing weather outside my window. Like it says on the bottle, this shower gel seems very 'warm and inviting'. And thats just what I wanted in my bath at wintertime.
I've always liked the Senses shower gels that Avon do and this shower gel lived up to all expectations I had of the range. It is just as good as all the other shower gels they do, I should know I've tried them all!
This smells quite sweet compared to the other shower gels in the range. Usually I don't like sweet, but with this it is a good kind of sweet. I really like the fragrance and loved showering with it in Winter.
You can only buy this shower gel in a 250ml bottle. That's the smallest shower gel sized that Avon do in their Senses range. In my house when all my family use this, the bottle would last just over a week. For 99p I think this is quite good value for money.
I really liked everything about this shower gel and I would recommend it :) I will definitely be buying it again next winter, or probably autumn judging by the British weather!
This product has a great scent and is a great idea for around Christmas time as it has that festive smell to it.
It comes in a very nice bright bottle and due to the size of the bottle it lasts a good amount of time too.
I work as an Avon representative and this is a really popular product. Many people order several as they like it so much and I know people that have given as a Christmas gift too. I have personally used this product and love it - I will buy it again out of the next catalogue.
This product isn't a creamy shower gel it is a clear liquid gel which means that it is maybe not the best moisturising shower gel but the smell lasts a long time on your skin which is good.
This is a favourite to my customers and is really affordable too - there are usually good deals on this product in the catalogue or online and I would recommend trying this.
I have recently tried out the Avon senses shower gel in winter warmth fragrance and this is my review.
The bottle of the Avon senses winter warmth shower gel is nice looking and I think it is an attractive looking product. The bottle is made of plastic which is good for me as I like to recycle plastic to do my bit for the environment. There is a flip top on the bottle which is easy to open and close. The label on the bottle gives the feeling of a cold winter night and needing some comfort or I think it does anyway.
The senses shower gels are in the Senses range in Avon but they seem to change what fragrances of shower gels and soaps they are selling dependant on the time of year it is. Some of the other scents in the 'Avon Senses' shower gel range are: Sunset (orange), Mystique (pink),Tropics (yellow), orient (gold), and Amazon for men (green). I have tried out a lot of these other fragrances so I was pleased to get the chance to try out the winter warm fragrance to.
I got the Avon senses winter warmth shower gel as part of my Christmas from my daughter as she knows I like the senses items from Avon. It was a present so I do not know how much she paid for it but the shower gels are usually about £1.50 - £2.00 though sometimes Avon runs offers on them and you can get them for 99 pence which is a good buy.
I like the smell of the senses winter warmth shower gel and think the smell is relaxing to use. It is a very fresh smell and it could be used for both men and women as it is not flowery or anything like that. The smell lasts on my skin for quite a while after my shower (or bath) and I like how it does this because I like the smell of the shower gel liquid. I have used the shower gel in the bath to instead of crème bath and it went nice in the bath. It caused some bubbles and I liked using it this way to.
The shower gel is very thick so I do not think you need to use to much of it to get a nice amount of soapy bubbles or lather on your skin. Because only a 50 pence piece sized blob is enough for me to use it means that the bottle lasts me quite a long time.
I think the winter warmth senses shower gel is on sale at this time of year only cos it is a wintry product and is sold this way by Avon. This is a shame for me cos I would buy it again and will need to hold off till next winter unless it is my next Avon book.
I would suggest giving the Avon senses winter warmth shower gel a try out cos I really like the senses products and think they are good quality and the scent of the winter warmth shower gel was as nice as the rest of the items in the senses range and I will buy it again.
Why did I buy this product?
When I was ordering the products that my customers wanted to buy I ordered a few shower gels this being one of them.
What does this product promise?
It is a pH balanced shower gel with its uplifting fragrance. It leaves skin feeling moistured and nourished.
Where can I get this product?
You can buy this product from your local AVON representive or log online to the AVON website to order.
At the moment to are getting for £1.20 this does occasionally come in the sale and sell for around £1 but usual price is £2.
I would advice that if you do have an AVON rep to ask them if they could check there other brochure e.g. the one before or after the book they have given you and ask if they could order the cheapest for you. If like me you're representive would want to get their customers the best price for the product. Ask nicely and you could bag yourself a bargain.
Buying through AVON is a cheap and easy way for buying things. However if you are wanting something quickly then it's not right for you to buy from them.
I like this product it smells fantastic, moistures my skin and also lathers up quite well to make it spread all over your body to clean all of you. I was pleasantly surprise with this product as I thought it might be a bit nasty but was perfectly worth every penny for it 250ml liquid. I would recommend this product 10/10.
If you have already purchased this product and you do not like you can ask you're representive to send it back even if it has been opened. You will be fully refunded as long as it is under 30 days since you ordered it.
Hope my review was of some used to you. Thank you for taking time to read it.
I love Avon products and can often pick up loads of bargains from the latest brochures, delivered to my door. One of my recent bargain buys was the new Senses Shower Gel, Winter Warmth. This is a limited edition, christmas special.
The 250ml bottle cost me just 99p, with a normal selling pice of £2. I had smelt the fragrance on the scented page and knew I had to have some. I love christamassy fragrances and this is definitely one of them.
As you will see from the above picture the shower gel liquid is a very dark pink, almost red colour and it is packaged in a clear plastic bottle with a flip top cap to make the gel easily dispensible.
I use my gel with a shower scrunchie and it works into a really rich creamy lather on my skin. The smell is beautiful, with cinnamon and sandalwood fragrances really shining through. I do think that the smell of the scented page is a little more orange like than the product really is, but still, I was not disappointed by the fragrance of the cleaning abilities of the shower gel itself.
I love this and as I am coming to end of my bottle I will order a couple more. It reminds me of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
You will be able to purchase this shower gel in brochure 17 for 99p directly from your representative or online at www.avon.uk.com.
