Advantages: smells lovely, long lasting bubbles and fragrance
Disadvantages: cheap looking packaging, doesn't do anything for the skin
My bottle of Avon's Spiced Cranberry and Orange bubble bath was given to me in a hamper of toiletries my mother made up for me as a Christmas gift. I've been using this alongside a couple of other bubble baths and in all honesty have been surprised at how much I really like this product.
In the bottle I think it's fair to say that this doesn't look much. The packaging is fairly cheap looking, having a sort of ribbed/bubbled appearance with only the product name and a picture of orange slices, cranberry and what I assume to be a cinnamon stick on the front. Of course the packaging is functional and it doesn't leak, which is all you really need, but this is perhaps not a product for those who are fans of fancy packaging.
The bubble bath always looks a reddish colour in the bottle to me, but when poured into the bath under running water, is actually bright orange in colour. The product is reasonably thick, yet pours easily and I have learned that I don't need to use a lot to get a good amount of bubbles.
The smell of the bubble bath is the main positive about the product in my opinion. In the bottle it smells quite spicy, but when poured, the first scent to really become apparent is the orange. It reminds me of orangeade as it has a sort of watered down smell to it, yet it's still pleasant. The longer the product is in the water, the more the scent seems to develop and it isn't usually long before I can smell the cranberries and the spice, which does seem to be cinnamon. It's quite a warming and comforting scent which is perfect for cold days.
In terms of bubbles, this product is also impressive. It foams up nicely, leaving the surface of my bath covered in frothy white bubbles. Both the scent and the bubbles last until the end of my bath, which again is impressive as this is a reasonably cheap product.
The bubble bath is just that, a bubble bath and doesn't promise to leave your skin soft, glowing or anything like that, so I wasn't particularly disappointed when these things didn't happen. I will note that although it didn't do much positive for my skin, it didn't do anything negative either and wasn't drying or irritating to the eczema I have on my foot.
The bubble bath is available in two sizes, the 500ml and the 1 litre which I have. Prices are below, but bare in mind this is Avon and their special offers are so frequent it should be easier to find it cheaper. Buy from www.avonshop.co.uk or your local Avon representative.

Overall, I think this is a good product for what it is and I've been enjoying using it. In an ideal world I would like something that moisturised and cared for my skin as well, but you get a big bottle for your money which should last a long time and the smell of the product is pleasant as well, so I'm not complaining and will happily award this a four star rating.

Summary: A nice product as long as you don't expect too much from it in terms of skin softening properties
