      Brilliant

I have always had my eye on the Avon bubble bath range but never got round to actually buying any. I bought the Strawberry Sorbet version a few weeks ago and I was really pleased with the quality of the product so I decided to treat myself to another bottle when it was still on offer for just £2.50 for a litre bottle. After looking through the other fragrances it was easy to settle on white lily because none of the others really appealed to me.

The bottle looks exactly the same as the one shown above. It is in a large clear plastic bottle that has ridges. The fragrance is described on the front of the bottle and it has a nice look to it. There is a white screw cap on the top of the bottle. The bottle certainly isn't one of the prettiest on the market but I do think that the ridged design has its benefits as it allows you to keep a strong grip on the bottle, even with wet hands.

The bubble bath itself is a cream colour and it has a good consistency, it's not too thick but not at all watery. To use you simply pour under running water and then the bubbles will begin to form. I like a lot of bubbles but just a small amount of this is enough. I maybe use a capful at the most. This usually decreases the amount in the bottle by about a third of one of the ridges so it is very long lasting.

The scent is immediately released as soon as I pour the bubble bath. It is a lovely floral scent but it isn't too feminine instead being quite a fresh scent with a subtle kick to it. I would say that this is more of a feminine fragrance but it isn't too girly - my partner will quite happily use this when he has a bath.

The bubbles start forming immediately when I pour it in the bath. The bubbles produced are thick, white and fluffy which catch the light and look very inviting. The bubbles have substance and don't disappear as soon as you touch them.

When in the bath the bubble bath provides a really warm and relaxing fragrance and I find myself immediately unwinding. The scent lasts a long time and it provides a lovely fragrance which is still there an hour or two after letting the water out. The bubbles also remain fluffy and thick for a long time and even when I get out the bath up to an hour later it still looks practically perfect.

I do suffer from sensitive skin but do not have any problems using this. My skin feels soft and supple when I get out of the bath and it has never felt sore or irritated after using it.

I really like this bubble bath and I will undoubtedly be buying it again. It lasts a long time and it is fantastic quality and kind to skin. The scent is lovely and it seems like a much more expensive product than it actually is. Recommended.

great product if you can get it on offer

There's nothing I love more than a nice hot bubble bath. As I flicked through the Avon catalogue one day I noticed that there bubble baths were on offer so I ordered a few bottles all in different smells. One of the ones I brought was white lily. The bubble baths come in two different sizes 500ml and 1litre. Usually they would cost £4 for a 500ml bottle and £5 for a 1litre bottle, which I think is quite expensive and would not pay for bubble bath, but I didn't mind paying the offer price for them (which was half price).

When my order arrived I took everything out of the bag and decided to use the white lily bubble bath first. It was in a plastic bottle with a screw on lid. There was not much information on the label on the back of the bottle, but it told you all the ingredients used to make it. When I went to use it the first thing I did was remove the lid and smell the contents. This is something that I always do before using a product in case it smells awful. This has a lovely floral smell that isn't too strong but that also isn't too weak so that you can't smell it. As the liquid was quite thick you did have to give the bottle a little squeeze when pouring it into the bath. I put a few blobs into the running water and it started to foam up straight away.

While I was in the bath the smell of the bubble bath filled the room and really helped me to relax. I got out and dried myself off. The bubble bath had left my skin feeling soft and moisturized and I could smell the light floral scent all evening. The only thing I did find with the product is that I had to use quite a lot to get a good amount of bubbles. I didn't mind that as I paid half price for them but I think that £5 for something that lasted half as long as other bubble baths I have used is a lot of money and not very good value.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Not bad, not great but its ok!

I love my baths and I have them regularly (more so than showers). I like to have various bath and body products to hand and this one I couldn't resist as I love floral fragranced bath foams/bubble baths.

      The Packaging:

This, you can purchase in a 500ml and 1L size bottles which are plastic, slightly frosted (but still see-through) and are rippled to each side of the oblong shaped bottle and I guess thats for ease of handling purposes and it has a white plastic screw on lid. On the front of the bottle I am told that it is Avon White Lilly Bubble Bath and the size is stated (which in my case I have the larger of the two). On the back of the bottle not very much information is listed at all but ingredients and contact details for Avon are listed and there is alot of space taken up with information given in foreign languages. Nice enough bottle and on the front there are delicate pictures of white lillies on there so you know on sight which fragranced bubble bath you are using.

      The Bubble Bath:

Pearly white blobby looking liquid this doesn't pour out of the bottle very easily at all but you gently have to squeeze a blob or two out. It has a wonderful and natural smell of lillies to it which is smooth and sophisticated and not too sweet but simply very fragrant and rich.

Once added to the water it doesn't change the colour of it and gives off some nice large white bubbles and of course the aroma is released.

This makes the water rather soft and comfortable to sit in and is a relaxing sort of fragrance. It rinses off the skin with ease and out of the bath and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, smooth and soft and the fragrance lingers on my skin for about an hour.

I love the fragrance of this one, feel its good value for money and it leaves my skin in rather good condition. Like other Avon bubble baths I have recently tried out it isn't the best and most luxurious bubble bath I have ever used and it could to with making a few more bubbles that are richer however it does offer value for money and a lovely scent and most of all it doesn't upset my sensitive skin.

Only available from Avon and usually this costs £4.00 for the 500ml bottle and £5.00 for the 1L sized bottle though they are on offer at the time of me writing this review and they are currently on offer with the 500ml bottle costing £2.00 and the 1L size bottle at £2.50.
