Berry Therapy is a "moisturising body wash" produced in the UK by "Baylis & Harding" who have been established since 1970. I happened to stumble across the "Berry Therapy" collection about a month ago at my local chemist for the amazingly cheap price of £1 per 500ml bottle. I decided to choose the strawberry one and have since tried raspberry too. Well at that price who wouldn't give it a try. On first impressions the bottle looks pretty standard in it's shape but the labels attached to it are very attractive looking and contain all the information i.e ingredients, animal testing, warning about getting it in your eyes etc...... I have to admit I am not normally one to smell body products, I just take a chance on whether I would like the smell but this one was calling for me to flip the lid open. Mmmmmm Yumm Yumm it smells almost good to eat and was surprised how close it came to smelling exactly like strawberry's. I come running into the living room and waved it under my husbands nose to his delight. That evening I ran a bath, we just had to try it out. I am one of these people who like bath water to smell nice, instead of plain old water, so gave a squeeze of our "Berry Therapy" body wash whilst the taps were still running. Instantly I noticed a huge amount of strawberry scented bubbles (and I thought it was just on the movies where you can build up huge quantities of bubbles). The smell, well that was just so invigorating and filled our whole upstairs with this tasty scent. Well that was it, the bath was run and we just had to dive in (we like to save water and do our bit for the environment). We both noticed how much it made the water and our skin feel much softer. We then opened the bottle once again and lathered some up in our hands, massaging it all over our bodies. I found this to be a very sensual and relaxing experience and the body wash well that just
lathered up so well (like they say strawberry's and cream go so well together). It was time to get out the bath, not that I wanted to but the water was beginning to get a bit cold. We then both dried ourselves and our skin still with that soft feeling and smelling so good but I managed to contain myself and not eat too much of my husband (well I have to leave some for later). The next morning the air upstairs was filled with that wonderful aroma of strawberry's and my husband still smelling so good I was thinking of having a second helping but he had to get ready for work. In fact for most of the day I could still smell the pungent aroma of strawberry's. The bottle in question lasted us very well (around 2 weeks) considering we used it to add to our bath water and lather it over our bodies too. We have also used it for our children bath time and found it to be gentle enough to use with John our 17 month old. The "Berry Therapy" collections comes in 4 different smells, strawberry, raspberry and 2 others that we have yet to try and not sure what they are. The raspberry smells as equally good as strawberry and softens the skin just as effectively. All the "Berry Therapy" collection are not tested on animals, which is one thing I look out for when purchasing beauty products, in fact they are against animal testing. *INGREDIENTS* These were found direct from our bottle. Aqua (water), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamide DEA, Sodium Chloride, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Parfum (fragrance), Panthenol, Vaccinium Myritillus (billberry extract), Saccharum Officinarum (sugar cane extract), Tocopheryl Acetate, Citrus Dulcis (orange extract), Citris Limonum (lemon extract), Acer Saccharum (sugar maple extract), Citric Acid, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone and colours (D & C Red 33). It is a product that I would recommend for it's outstanding value, effectiveness and
sheer invigorating experience. If you would like to see what other products they do then you could check out their web site http://www.midcos.com
