I'm a huge fan of The Body Shop products and have a few firm favourites that I will purchase time and time again. What I love about their toiletries is that I am able to select from one particular range and therefore, layer the beautiful fragrance. Sorry I have been quiet lately (although some would say that is a blessing!) but I have been working hard over the last couple of weeks to help get our lifeboat shop up and running here in Llandudno. I am not a huge fan of soap especially to use on my body as it is far too drying on my skin but I do like to use a soap in the bathroom sometimes instead of a hand wash especially when the soap is a really good quality one like this. I only bought this because it was on sale for 50p and it had been a long time since I had tried the Sweet Lemon scented range of products from the Body Shop. I love The Body Shop and I love fruity beauty products so I can never resist buying from this shop when I'm in. I find that the smell of their products is really natural and not too sweet so my cupboards are bursting with products! This is a soap which I have. I have quite a few Body Shop soaps and I think this is one of my favourite. It is a lovely rounded soap, a standard size and it's very comfortable to hold with it being rounded. It is a little slippery as soap tends to be when it's wet and when it begins to run out it can get a little sharp but aside from this it's fine. I got this soap as part of an offer - a Telegraph "free £5 spend" coupon. I was a little dubious because £2 for a bar of soap seemed a lot to pay. However, it is remarkably nice. The wrapping is minimal, so eco-friendly, but kept the soap well. On opening it the scent was delicious - really fresh and citrussy, with a hinit of orange-blossom behind it. (The sweet bit, I guess.) The soap itself is clear and I assume is based on glycerine. The bar is a comfortable size to hold and use.
