Bomb Cosmetics make handmade cosmetics and soaps, with their more popular products being there fantastic bathing range. They are all packed with wonderful fragrances, essential oils and even flower petals or buds. They use natural ingredients, a lot them are sourced in a sustainable manner, such as White Clay from the Amazon. They have a whole ethical policy on environmental issues and animal testing. They are very similar to the well known Lush, and I enjoy Bomb Cosmetics just as much, as the products are wonderful.
I bought a Bomb Cosmetics gift set in the Amazon Black Friday sales, and I've been really enjoying using their products in my bath. The Sweet Cherry Pie bath blaster came in the Sweet Heart gift pack which included 5 berry themed products, all of which smell gorgeous, as well as looking really pretty. I am pleased with the effort put in my Bomb Cosmetics on making each bath bomb look so carefully made with lovely designs.
The Sweet Cherry Pie Bath Blaster looks like your average bath bomb and is mostly white, apart from the top where we get a sneak preview into what's inside this seemingly innocent bath bomb. The description made it sound delicious, stating it contains a bergamot fragrance, REAL chocolate and pink peppercorns, along with jasmine and black pepper oils. When I took this blaster out of it's wrapper it certainly smelt very nice indeed, it's not over powering or sickly.
The best part came when I popped this in my bath. If you haven't used a blaster before, simply run a nice hot bath, then when it's full, pop this in and watch it fizz away. I'm always surprised by what comes out of a Bomb Cosmetics blaster, as you can't really tell from the outside what's going to happen. Each one I have used so far has released different things into the water, as well as different smells. When this one began to fizz away, hundreds of pink peppercorns began to appear, but this wasn't the end. As it continued to fizz away, a couple of what looked like piece of cherry actually came out, along with the shavings of real chocolate! There was a small amount of this compared to the hundreds of tiny peppercorns, but it was a lovely surprise and it shows that Bomb Cosmetics really do use a lot of ingredients in each of their products. As the blaster is mainly white, this one didn't colour the water at all, which disappoints me as I do like products which change the colour of the water somewhat, however the tiny pink peppercorns did sort of make up for this, as they were everywhere.
The lovely fragrance did seem to fade away quite quickly, however after my bath I did notice my skin smelt really nice so I assume I just grew used to the smell whilst in the bath. If you are concerned about any mess this blaster might make, especially with the hundreds of peppercorns, then don't worry, as these rinse away very easily and you won't be scrubbing away after a relaxing bath just trying to clean out the tub!
This is another impressive bath blaster from Bomb Cosmetics, and dare I say it but they are often out doing any bath bombs I use by Lush, as it seems more care and attention goes into the details with Bomb Cosmetic's bath blasters, and I will certainly be using them for a while yet!
This bath blaster costs £2.19 from bombcosmetics.co.uk, but it also appears in a few gift packs which might prove better value if you wish to purchase a few blasters at once.
