Advantages: well made, leaves skin feeling soft and smooth
Disadvantages: sometimes leaves a little tingling of the skin if not used with a lotion or in the shower
**I am taking my lead from the other review posted on this product, as I also have the round body brush and not the oval one shown in the photograph, but they are exactly the same product made with the same materials, and used for the same purpose. **
I bought this product in the hope that it would help improve the condition of my skin before I went on holiday. I was sick of paying a fortune for different creams and lotions, exfoliators and body puffs so was looking for something a bit different.
Appearance
This brush is of a circular design with bristles covering the whole surface. The handle is of a good size for any size and shape of hand, and makes the brush easy to hold when using it anywhere on the body. The bristles are long enough to put some force onto the brush when using it without being able to push it down to far to hurt the skin with the wooden top of the brush.
Use
I do not use the brush in the shower or with creams as I find it makes too much of a mess. I find it easier to use the brush once I am out of the shower and then apply moisturiser with my hands. I use the brush in long upward strokes all over my body and find that it leaves the skin tingling slightly for about 10 seconds after use, but leaves my skin feeling smooth, removing any dead skin cells. I also find my skin looks brighter and healthier with the regular exfoliation.
I am very impressed with this product, it creates the same effects as exfoliator creams and lotions but without the continued price. I have had mine for about a year and paid around £6 for it, I believe it is closer to £7 or £8 now but I would recommend it to anyone looking for healthy and glowing skin. I have not had one bristle come away from the brush in all the time I have had it, and it is a very well made product.
Summary: I would recommend anyone to buy this in place of other exfoliation products.
