Advantages: Smells great, good price, leaves my skin soft

Disadvantages: None for me - I love it!

As most of you know my mom passed away last month and as such I now have to sort out all her stuff to be given to charity, passed to friends or whatever. They say every cloud has a silver lining and one of these is the fact that I am inheriting lots of new smellies to try some of which are not to my taste at all but others are very nice indeed.

Amongst the stuff that I have found is a bottle of Boots Lavender and Rosemary Foaming Bath Essence, sadly only about a quarter full. There is also a Sea Kelp and Watermint one which I haven't yet tried but I know I shall like that one!

As we are moving things from our house to our cottage we are getting a few aches and pains along the way and a soak in the bath always helps. This is when I decided to try the Lavender and Rosemary Foaming Bath Essence.

It comes in a clear plastic 500ml bottle about eight inches tall with a white screw top. The label on the front is in shades of lavender and blue with flowers on it and it has the Boots logo in blue together with 'Lavender & Rosemary Foaming Bath Essence - relaxes and calms the body and mind'.

The writing on the label on the back of the bottle explains that this product has been specially formulated to 'relax body and mind whilst leaving skin feeling soft, smooth and conditioned'.

As with most bubble baths you are advised to pour it into the bath under the running tap so, being the sort of girl to do as I'm told (yeah right!), this is what I did.

The fragrance of the lavender and rosemary is gorgeous and the bubbles are thick, creamy and plentiful.

I climbed in and the water felt soft and inviting. I lay back and relaxed in the warm, bubbly water enjoying the lovely smell. Obviously I do like both lavender and rosemary so this is ideal for me.

When I got out of the bath and dried myself my skin did feel smooth and soft and the fragrance of the bath essence lingering both in the air and on my skin.

As with all of these types of products you are advised to avoid contact with the eyes but if you do you are to wash your eyes with clear water straight away. It's obvious I know but always worth a mention.

As I found this amongst mom's things I hadn't a clue how much it cost so I took a look at the Boots website - www.boots.com - and it currently costs £1.49 for the 500ml bottle.

Of course being plastic it is recycleable so that's good too!

All in all I really liked this product and will certainly be buying some more in the future.
