I received a Boots Mediterranean gift set for Christmas. The range is something I see in Boots from time to time but have never been tempted to buy any of the products because some of the product descriptions are a bit too obscure for my liking. I certainly wouldn't have chosen to buy this body wash as immediately the pale green colour had put me off when I first set eyes on it. The ingredients in this body wash were all things I had never tried on their own or in a combination in anything in my bath. I had even missed out on the wheat germ Lush products so far as they didn't appeal to me. The body wash is packaged in a squeezy bottle with a flip lid ... Read the complete review

Some things in life I realise are good for me, but smell or taste disgusting, or are even painful to endure, and therefore require a bit of steely determination in their use; take tooth extraction, eyebrow plucking, drinking herbal tea, or swallowing dissolvable aspirin for example (urgh). However, when I take a shower or sink into a deliciously warm bath, I don't expect to hold my nose and tell myself to 'think of the benefits'.As far as I am concerned, bathtime is the domain solely of pleasant scents and decadence; no vomit inducing wiffs are permitted. So, imagine my disgust then when I attempted to try the somewhat unappealing sounding Boots 'Bergamot, Wheatgerm, and Read the complete review

Whenever my mother comes to visit she always brings me lots of toiletries and gift sets with her. No, she isn’t making an unsubtle hint about body odour, but is sharing her twice yearly bounty of gifts from her primary school class. This time I got a number of bottles from the Boots Mediterranean range and this was the first one I tried out. ***The Range*** One of the Boots own ranges, it is supposed to reflect the scents of the Mediterranean. There are a range of moisturisers, balms, sprays and shower gels with different combinations of plant extracts and oils. Boots say of their range (taken from their website): “Indulge in a ... This was another of my mums little goodies from the staff shop . Now, I do love a lof of the boots products she brings home, but I have to say my first impression of this, based on looks alone, wasn't that great - packaged in a clear squeezy bottle with a flat flip lid, which enables it to be stood upside down, the colour of the product is something I can only describe as a murky swamp green - not particularly appealing . The label tells me it Mediterranean Bergamot, Wheatgerm and Basil, and has a picture of some basil leaves and some green things that look a lot like limes . I assume these are Bergamot. It also tells me that the extracts used in this product ... Read the complete review

This is a review of Boots Mediterranean Bergamot Wheatgerm & Basil Body Wash. I received this item in a gift set with other items from the Mediterranean range and had saved it to use for a special occasion as it looked like a luxury range of products to me. Packaging The 200ml tube is clear and stands on the lid which is a flip top. I find this good as it clicks shut and doesn't leak. The label features a picture of basil and what look like lime but they may be the bergamot! The only moan here is the glue that was used to secure the product into the gift box. It has left me with two sticky patches that are unpleasant and put me off taking this to the ... Read the complete review
