Boots No7 Blissful Body Wash
Advantages: Smells really nice and does provide a really
Disadvantages: There is something I do not like about the colour of the bottle :S
~The look of the product~
The product I have is in a peach/flesh colour, with a pearlescent lid, I have had numerous samples of their 25ml body wash from their No. 7 kits they release at Christmas. There is something about the No.7 products that provides a sophisticated feel surrounding them.
The front of the product features the No.7 logo at the top, the product name, " Blissful Body Wash" and that the product is Hypo- allergenic and 25ml. The back of the bottle states, " Turn your daily shower into a little bit of heaven. A little luxury, every day... Squeeze a small amount onto your hand or shower puff and work into a rich lather. Rinse away and gently pat skin dry. Rinse well after use." and then the usual gibberish about avoiding contact with eyes etc.
Looking on the boots website the 200ml bottle looks different, as it has a deeper more pearlised cerise colour from the photo shown. My boyfriend has mentioned a possible reason why I am not so fond of the peach/ flesh colour, he has suggested it looks like 'old people' baggy stockings, I presume he means the American Tan tights!!
~The price~ and ~Value for money~
According to the Boots website a 200ml bottle costs £9.50, from using the 25ml sample, I generally feel to get a really good 'clean' one where you feel as though you are going to smell fresh for the rest of the day, I would use around 10ml that is using my hand rather than a shower puff, I would think that you would a little less than this. By my calculations a 200ml bottle would last around 20 washes which works to be around £0.48 per wash, which to me does sound like a really pricey body wash, however as a treat I believe it is worth the money.
I have had numerous sample sized bottles of this lying around for some time, however I decided enough was enough and I am not buying new toiletries until I have finished the ones I have (unless I am bought new products which is always a bonus). I was rather dubious about whether this would live up to being a blissful body wash, however I was very surprised as it came out like a cream and it instantly made me feel a little bit special, which was just what I wanted before a full day at work. It did lather up rather well, however next time I use it I will use a body puff as I think this may add to the 'experience'.
~The smell~and~the look/feel of product~
As mentioned above the product is a creamy texture with a snow drift white colour. The product has a soapy smell, but not an overpoweringly strong smell. When using the product it has left me feeling fresh throughout the day, my skin does feel smooth even after doing a full day of manual work.
I would rate this product as 5/5 it provides a luxurious shower, which not many shower gels offer to do, this is more of a bath cream claim. Please feel free to comment on anything you wish to know about the product but which I have not put in this review, I have tried to write about everything I would wish to know but a few things may have escaped my mind.
Summary: Provides a blissful body wash.......which is funnily enough what the product is called
