Advantages: exfoliates well, smells pleasant, fresh
Disadvantages: a bit harsh in places!, could be cheaper
This is a pleasant to use, gently fragranced product. The grittiness of this scrub is provided by the tiny loofah pieces (and apricot kernel) in this clear blue gel. Personally I haven't found any difference between the loofah pieces and apricot kernel granules. I will say that it is a good idea though, and possibly the loofah pieces will be less likely to scratch your skin so harshly, which the apricot kernel can sometimes do. My skin did feel smoother after a vigorous attack with this scrub, and my palms feel exfoliated too :) So, I would not recommend that you use this product on any irritated skin, or sensitive areas as it can feel quite harsh.
It does leave your skin feeling lighter, and the extract of samphire (sea fennel) is high in vitamin c and minerals (if you think that will get through your skin).
It comes in an easy to use tube, which opens at the bottom, so the product is always ready to use.
They have changed the packaging quite a lot since I last bought it. Now it's in a much smaller tube (50ml), a Boots MINI product.
