“ Brand: Clarins / Type: Concentrate / Type: Shower Cream „
I have a huge love and obsession for Clarins products. I always recommend and speak highly of Clarins, mostly all products i have tried have been wonderful so its a real treat to be able to share my love on dooyoo making recommendations. Clarins contouring shower and bath concentrate can be purchased from Boots, Debenhams and John lewis stores.
Clarins contouring shower and bath concentrate costs £14.99 for a 200ml bottle. Clarins contouring shower and bath concentrate comes in a clear bottle that looks green in colour because of the green gel inside. It has a flick cap lid on it and when this is up you can see a small hole in the middle for dispensing the gel from this requires a squeeze on the bottle to get the gel to come out.
Clarins contouring shower and bath concentrate has a thick slim gel texture that's cold to touch. It has a spa smell to the gel but with an earthy grass or herbal scent mix very pleasant. To use the Clarins contouring shower and bath concentrate you should apply to damp skin rub all over the body and rinse of with the shower head. The gel lathers quickly and rinses off without leaving any residue on the skin. It is easier to use the product in a shower as it the bath you need to stand up to lather and as the bath water rinses it leaves the bubbles in the bath water i also had a scum line around the tub after using this in a bath not nice.
Clarins contouring shower and bath concentrate is for normal skin. The idea of this product is to clean the skin, help get rid of lumpy bump cellulite, improve the skins elasticity and tones and great for increasing circulation. All of the ingredients are natural and contains no harsh chemicals.
I personally feel the contouring shower and bath concentrate is very good on cellulite. I rubbed some of the gel onto a bath scrunch and massaged it straight into my thighs where the cellulite was bad, the gel worked very well even on the first treatment and gradually faded away. I also had bad stretch marks on my tummy most of these have faded now an extra added bonus from using the gel. I aint sure about the circulation as i have never had poor circulation. I do know that its very relaxing and my skin feels soft and looks glowing after using this contouring shower and bath concentrate. I will continue to buy this and just purchased a bottle of my pregnant sister in-law to use during pregnancy hopefully will stop stretch marks appearing completely.
I recommend the Clarins contouring shower and bath concentrate.
I received this product from my mum from Christmas true I am the wrong side of 35 with some wobbly bits but did she really have to buy me body contouring shower gel and bath!
From the well know French company Clarins this comes in their trade mark packaging of white and red for a simple elegant look. The 200ml bottle I have made from clear plastic that allows you to see the deep green gel inside nice and easily and is recyclable.
It is a rich green color which reminds me of seaweed and leaves. This isn't surprising given the ingredients are Sea Wrack a type of seaweed that is claimed to help nourish and repair the skin. Other plant ingredients that are included in this to help get rid of cellulite are ground ivy, bitter orange, Broom to cure water retention Lemon to sooth the skin and sweet marjoram and horse chestnut to stimulate circulation. There is also Mint rosewood, rosemary in this blend too. When I was reading the ingredient list I was a bit uncertain how these would all go together but the smell surprisingly is a very pleasant mix of herbal grassy notes with a bit of a zing form the mint. Whilst it is very powerful on your nose in the bottle it becomes a bit more subtle in the bath or shower when diluted. I was concerned the mint and the stimulating notes might make a bath seem to stimulating rather than relaxing but this didn't happen it instead left me feeling more refreshed and rejuvenated but still able to sleep an hour later.
The texture is very thick and it comes out of the bottle in nice globules which makes it easy to put a small amount in the bath or onto a bath scrunchie. A teaspoon is all you need to put into a bath to get a glorious mass of bubbles to soak in so it lives up to its concentrate claims. The green color of the gel doesn't transform into the water which remains clear.
In the shower you really need to use a bath scrunchie to aid with lathering and to make it last longer. It does produce a rich foamy white lather that is still easy to rinse off.
I have used now the entire bottle and I have to say I have not noticed any visible difference to the cellulite or wobbly bits as my husband calls them. They are still as wobbly as ever and still do have a bit of dimpling to them. My skin has however become a bit smoother over these areas since using it but the underlying wobbles remain the same so I can't really recommend it. I am giving it 2 stars as it doesn't seem to live up to its contouring claims to get rid of cellulite despite making my skin nice and soft and smooth. At £10.95 from http://www.scentsationalperfumes.com I think there are better products out there.
