Advantages: Cheap, smells lovely, a little goes a long way

Disadvantages: None

My bathroom is full of lotions, potions and all things well, girly really. I love to add to these whenever an shopping opportunity arises, and recently spotted Imperial Leather Japanese Spa Shower Cream for only 74p for a 250ml bottle in my local Semi Chem. I am fond of a bargain or two, and usually pay much more for a shower gel, so this seemed like a great deal.

The Japanese Spa fragrance consists of green tea, rice milk and jasmine. Jasmine being one of my favourite fragrances when it comes to shower gels, soaps and handwashes, so it was ideal for me.

This shower cream has quite a nice bottle, its curvy so makes it easy to hold in the shower. It has a nice robust flip top lid, which is really easy to open even with wet hands. The product inside the bottle is a creamy colour, and has a lovely jasmine scent which is really strong and heady. I don't think I could detect the other fragrances, but this was not really an issue.

What makes this a great buy is that it is non drying, as it is 100% soap free so makes it kind to skin. I dislike anything too drying and harsh as I do tend to have rather dry skin anyway. On the back of the bottle it states that it has a skin friendly pH, is dermatologically tested and is mild enough for the whole family to use. My daughter has eczema so I only let her use a small drop, and it hasn't irritated her skin in anyway, so that's another plus point.

The cream lathers rather well, and only a small dollop is needed to produce a rich, thick, fragrant foam. It cleanses well and does feel quite luxurious for the price, and doesn't dry my skin out. The scent doesn't linger very long on my skin, but for only 74p I didn't expect it too.

All in all this is a very good shower gel, I've had my bottle 2 weeks and I'm only half way down, so it is very economical. I would definitely buy this again.

Summary: Another good shower gel from Imperial Leather
