“ Brand: Cussons / Texture: Cream / Type: Night Cream / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types „
With not having a bath anymore it is really important to get a good thick cream when using a shower product. Often they seep through the scrunchy and are wasted but there is no way this will happen with Imperial Leather Precious Shower Cream.
The scent is Night Blooming Jasmine and it is just the right strength as it is strong enough while not being overpowering. It comes out of the bottle a pleasant purple colour and is rich and creamy on your skin and is very easy to spread around. It lathers up well and there is no need to use a great deal making it a very economical shower cream.
The Night Blooming Jasmine is well known for being soothing and there is also Cotton Milk which is famed for helping to keep the skin smooth and soft. The description on the bottle tells us that it has been dermatologically tested, is 100% soap free, has a triple moisturising capability and has a skin friendly ph. I don't understand the technical bits but it does work well to keep you clean and fresh and my skin did feel better afterwards even elbows and heels.
The ingredients are all listed on the bottle which is recyclable and the size I bought is 250ml. This was another offer from Lloyds chemist costing just £1 but at full price it will be £1.50 or more so it was quite a good saving.
This is registered as a limited edition and is something I will stock up on in case it is withdrawn. The bottle is curvy and easy to hold while the flip top lid is easy to open yet secure once it has been closed.
If you are looking for a change of shower cream and want a luxury product at a discount price from a reputable company then this is the one to go for.
I bought this shower gel when it was on offer just as a change from my normal shower gel. I've used other imperial leather shower gels in the past and liked them.
This is the same consistency as other imperial leather shower gels I've used, and lathers up just as well too. I really like the smell of it, and the bottle looks good too. It does look more of a luxury shower gel than many you see for sale.
One complaint I have is that it does stain the tiles of my shower, it comes off with a good clean but it's a little bit annoying!
Overall I liked this shower gel for a change. However, having recently discovered Dove Silk Glow shower cream, which leaves my skin softer and with a sheen, I would only use it occasionally not as my main shower gel. Although it smelt nice, it didn't give me the feeling that it was doing my skin more good than any other shower gel.
One of the many things we tend to have in abundance in my house is shower gel, with this being a staple item as far as I am concerned, with this being the subject of this review.
The product I will now review is - "Imperial leather - precious jasmine and cotton milk shower cream".
I have to say I purchased this initially due to the fact that it was new and on offer, a deadly combination in the Barrow household!
The bottle itself (as with all the shower gels in the range) has a distinct looking bottle, with it being clear to see the product within, but also shaped into a wave design, for better handling when in the shower, though the design may look very modern it does make it much harder being able to get every last drop of product from the bottle, as you can't just turn it on it's head to let the product drip down to the applicator end.
The information on the bottle is the bog standard that you would expect, with there being the brand name, product name and a detailed description of the scent and it's skin smoothing abilities, with the product being visible through the bottle, giving a lovely deep rich looking burgundy colour as a backdrop.
To open you simply flip up the hinged lid and pour. I tend to use the shower products with a shower puff, thus using less product due toe the puff creating much more bubbles than using with a flannel or hand alone, though this product is quite bubbly enough on it's own!
The smell of this product is quite simply divine, with the main scent being the jasmine, but there being a really creamy undertone to the scent, which I can only assume is the cotton milk.
The cream feels quite luxuriant when on the skin, and does seem to condition the skin slightly, though I do shave a lot, so I still have to use a good moisturising cream after washing, but with this I could probably get away with not having to.
Once rinsed off, which in fairness takes a little longer due to the strong colours in the cream, my skin feels lovely an clean, not tight or sore in any way, and the scent lingers beautifully for some time after, this stuff is so gentle I even let my children use it and they both have sensitive skin, though this range has never affected them in the slightest!
Price and longevity wise this cost me £1.00 in an offer at Asda, but at full price you are looking more at the £1.40 range, with this 250ml bottle lasting me (with twice daily use) around a week, though if I let the kids near it, it is gone within a session!

Thanks for reading x
When it comes to shower gels and lotions I really am a bit of a clean freak and spend an awful lot of money out on these types of products regularly which is why when I spotted this, in Asda sporting a lovely bottle that I hadn't seen before and only being a pound a bottle (on offer at the moment) I simply thought it had to be worth a go!
250ml see-through plastic curvy style bottle with a burgundy flip-top lid to the top of it concealing a small hole. On the front of the bottle and mainly in gold writing I am told that it is Imperial Leather 'Precious' Night Blooming Jasmine & Cotton Milk Shower Cream 'Divinely Smoothing' and that it is 'Limited Edition'. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed, size is stated (as I've told you already) and contact details for Cussons (the manufacturer of the product) are stated. Nice classy looking bottle this is and I do like being able to see the shower cream through the bottle so I know when it needs replacing.

Well all you need of this of burgundy shower cream is a small blob and to apply it with whatever method you wish to onto damp/wet skin. It lathers up with complete ease giving off a good white lather as you go and releasing the gorgeous fragrance.
The fragrance is sweet and rather feminine but really natural smelling and although deep it still is fresh! It really is lovely this one! You can really smell the Jasmine within this though cotton I can't lol.
I can shave my bits and bobs with this, it rinses off with real ease and leaves skin delicately fragranced for a good couple of hours, leaves me feeling totally cleansed and my skin is left feeling very gently hydrated all day long without feeling one bit greasy or anything like that.
Not the most luxurious shower cream I have ever used and I would appreciate the scent to stay on my skin a bit longer than it does if I'm really critical but as a day to shower cream this really isn't bad at all!
Available in all good chemists and supermarkets etc and if not on offer will usually cost around £1.50 a bottle.
