I have tried most of the David Beckham Men's range and in some cases have owned the deodorant, shower gel and eau de toilette versions of a particular fragrance. One such example of that is the David Beckham Instinct Sport fragrance. It's one of my favourite fragrances in the David Beckham range and I have bought a couple of the shower gel tubes and deodorant cans as well as having received a gift set pack and also bought on myself in the January sales. It's fair to say that this is quite a popular fragrance with me then. The Beckham ranges are pretty affordable but are also quality fragrances which is one of their selling points apart from the obvious attraction of the brand Beckham.
There is a normal "Instinct" fragrance in the David Beckham range which has a similar scent to the Sport version but the Sport version is pretty self explanatory really. It's designed for use after Sporting activity and has a decent protection against sweat and odour. It's a fragrance that has a fruity feel with an interesting twist. The shower gel really works well and creates a decent lather with not much gel which is also something to look out for when buying a shower gel as the better the lather you get the longer lasting the shower gel will be. The scent hits you with a sharp ginger tone with the fruity Mandarin tone too. The scent then develops it's fruity nature with hints of Apple which mixes well with Geranium and Ozone to create an Interesting combination. The fragrance fades with the woody notes of Sandalwood with a mix of Cashmeran & Patchouli to give off a slight musky tone.
Top Notes Ginger ale, Mandarin
Middle Notes Geranium leaves, Apple, Violet leaves, Ozone
Base Notes Cashmeran, Patchouli, Sandalwood
I would certainly recommend this shower gel to anyone who has liked the previous David Beckham fragrances or other products they have tried. It's a lovely fresh scent which works on you from the first notes. It works well with the deodorant and eau de toilette versions of the fragrance and also leaves your skin feeling fresh and smooth. Ideal for a post match shower or a pre night on the town shower. It's available for around £3 which is a good deal and puts it in the same price bracket as some lesser quality products. It's well worth a try and is certainly one I would buy again and again as I would with a couple of other fragrances in the David Beckham range.
