      Another great product from Dove

I love all things Dove and Oil Of Olay. I love bath products in general really and buy far too many! My bathroom and my drawer in the bedroom and on top of the wardrobe are rammed full of stuff and my early New Years resolution is to use the flipping stuff up and try to stop buying more! Saying that I went to Boots yesterday and bought a whopping 30 products in the sales I feel a lot more reviews coming on! I just cant stop myself! I bought this Dove Regenerating Night Bath a few months back. I don't use it a lot as I mainly use it at night time and living with parents they not keen on me swimming abut when they go bed and they go to bed at bout 9pm lol So my bottle is lasting me ages lol My Bottle.... Well firstly it came from Poundland and the bottle is different to the one in the photo at the top of this review. On mooching about I have checked and it is exactly the same product! So my bottle is a dark blue recyclable plastic bottle with flip top lid. Gold and white writing on the front telling me the brand and that it is indeed regenerating night bath with 1/4 active moisturising cream and that the fragrance is Soothing Honey and Vitamin E. On the back tells me what it should do for me, how to use it, list the ingredients and gives me all the info I need to contact the manufacturers (Unilever). All in all the bottle looks quite 'butch' and that must be why its changed the packaging. My only gripe with this bottle is that the flip top lid would be better on the bottom as the bottle is quite heavy when full and for ease of use would be better off upside down lol The liquid is a slightly iridescent looking white colour, consistency is as I said a liquid but it doesn't just pour out you have to squeeze the bottle, though not too hard! The fragrance isn't great for a Dove product. On first sniff I really felt quite sick and it smelt of Sweet Peas and old fashioned stuff I'm really not into. Its rather heavy however that's smelt in the bottle! Using The Product.... Basically it says to add some to the bath. So I did. What I got is a decent foam and very soft water. The smell evaporated somewhat to give off a much nicer smell. Shaving was made easy and I did feel somewhat calm. Does it put you to sleep? No. Does it make you tired? Yes, it did me! I used it at 3pm and I'm trying to type this now a couple of hours later and although I haven't been up very long as I slept in I feel like I could so do with 40 winks! The smell get much lighter in the bath and you only need a few drops and the fragrance is suited for the whole family (if you wish to share it of course!) I'm not sure about the PH balance of the product or whether it is hypo allergenic. I have the bottle in front of me and no where on it does it state it and I've also looked on several sites for this information and I can't find it out. Overall.... It gives a nice relaxing bath, smells good, softens the skin and keeps to its promise. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it but if it was on offer I'd buy it again. However it lasts ages so I need none for the time being lol £2.68 Boots and in all good chemists (do look out for offers particularly in Boots!)
