There is one thing that you can say about the Dove range..its creative..the range looks after all ages and all skin types.
I think the Dove Pro Age range is an excellent concept.
The Dove Campaign for real beauty is another wonderful idea.
The campaign hammers home the fact that you don't have to be a size 0 and 21 to be beautiful, everyone is beautiful in their own way
We should be grateful to Dove for running this campaign.
The Dove nourishing body wash is full of nutrients, hence we shower and feed our skin at the same time.
The body wash has a gentle cleanser and is enriched with Vitamin E.
The combination of ingredients work together cleansing and softening your skin, leaving it with a healthy glow.
Dove products are a part of my daily routine, they are economical, highly respected and admired by many.
Dove a product of the Unilever group.
I love Dove products. I love the smell, the creamy texture, the rich lather, and the smooth silky skin they result in. I hate the adverts, with their 'real' people talking 'real' language in their 'real' living rooms, but I fall for them every time and try every new Dove product that comes out. Nourishing Body Wash is the latest in the Dove range of products, made by Lever Faberge. It's a dual action 2-in-1 formula that washes and nourishes at the same time. But don't all Dove products do that, you might ask. What's so special about this one? Let's look at the evidence as I see it from a Dove marketeer's point of view. Imagine your products are best sellers. They do what they say they do and have gained a great reputation and huge following. Just about everything you've got is a cash cow. Trouble is, you're running out of ideas for new things to add to the range, and all marketeers know that if you're to stay ahead you can't rely on your cash cows forever, you also need your rising stars. And if you haven't got a rising star, you'd better revamp one of your cash cows and turn it into one. And if you're really clever, you keep your cash cow as it is at the same time. So, what's so special about Dove Nourishing Body Wash? 1. It's a dual formula ======================= It is a cleanser and a moisturiser at the same time. Oh yes, but all our products are that, so we need a new angle for this one. 2. Let's make it look like a dual formula then =============================================== Good idea. All our body wash products are both cleanser and moisturiser, but they're all mixed up together. So let's separate the cleanser and moisturiser. 3. Done. But how do we make it really different? ================================================== Why don't we
put the separatee cleanser and moisturiser into different coloured bottles? 4. Fine. But people won't buy two bottles. ============================================ No, but we can stick the two bottles together with one single nozzle at the top. Then when the user squeezes the bottle, the two mix together. 5. And become like what our usual body wash is? ================================================ Exactly. 6. So what's so special then? ============================== Well, because it's in two different coloured bottles stuck together that then merge into one, ml for ml we can charge almost twice as much for it! And that's what's so special about Dove Nourishing Body Wash. It cleans as well and no better than their original much cheaper body wash, and it moisturises as well and no better than their much cheaper original body wash. And it doesn't even have much of that lovely Dove smell. Conclusion ========== Dove UMBW does what it says it does. It cleans and moisturises very well indeed. It leaves your skin feeling wonderful. Now I don't know if they're using a different type of moisturiser in this one, or if they're using more of it, but I do know that for me the results are absolutely no better than the usual Dove body wash which is considerably cheaper and smells a lot nicer. My advice is don't waste your fiver (for a measly 236 ml) and stick to the lovely original.
Dove body wash (especially with the matching bath sponge thing) is a gorgeous and addictive product. It smells lovely, feels lovely and makes the bath water fabulously milky! A bottle can last up to 42 washes apparently (when used with the body sponge) but I've never made it last that long purely because I tend to use half a bottle each time I have a bath! It really does make you feel squeaky clean and smelling beautiful without the horrible dryness after using a bar of soap. When used with the body sponge you also get a great exfoliating system which does away with the nasty dry patches, especially on your elbows and upper arms.
