Dove Bar Soap is creamy, smells gorgeous and feels wonderfully creamy and soft to use. It does make a noticeable difference to the texture and feel of the skin. Dove started life as a soap in 1957 and it has been clinically proven to benefit dry and sensitive skin. Dove products are made by Unilever and go through a rigorous testing procedure before they are put on the market. The company claims that if you read the instructions on the labelling on any of its products and use it only as intended there should be no safety problems. Interestingly they then go on to discuss the difference between 'hazard' and 'risk'. (See Unilever's Website if you are ... Read the complete review

It doesn't take a genius to know that I love any product that makes me smell nice and so I am often on the look out for new products to try. As luck would have it, a mysterious bag of shopping showed up at my husbands work place recently, and following a fortnight of no one coming forward to claim it he took some of the contents home. One item was a pack of four Dove soaps. Now I have tried Dove deodorant before, but having never tried their original product I was keen to see how good it was. My soaps were packaged in white cellophane wrapper which had the Dove logo on the front and a rather whimsical gold dove. Opening my packet the four soaps were nestled ... Read the complete review

WHY DOVE? ------------------ I have very sensitive skin, especially on my face, and am unable to use any old soap or wash. I react badly to most soaps, and they can simply make my skin dry, or give me a huge reaction and my skin flares up and gets quite sore. Therefore i have to be careful what soap I choose and need to be quite picky about it. Dove soap is different to all other soaps on the market. Why is it different? The main difference is that it's actually called a cream bar, not soap. I'm not 100% sure what the difference is between cream bar soaps and normal soaps, other than dove has some moisturiser in them, but I know that Dove does feel creamy ... Read the complete review

I have bought Dove Cream bars since 1996. The cheapest deal I have found is 2 x 100g bars for £1 at Tesco. I love everything about this soap. To start at the beginning, there was a small bar in my 'Emma's' basket when I had my daughter, nearly 18 years ago. Born by C section, my first shower was painful and not a little scary (yes, I know - TMI!) but once the nurse had helped me to get comfortable, she handed me the little bar of soap and as I showered, the scent filled the shower cubicle. Even now, I appreciate the soft suds which leave no trace of stickyness on my skin. I used this bar for my facial scrub for years (mainly because I couldn't ... Read the complete review

I have always been amazed and in love with Dove products especially Dove soap. Why I wanted it.... I wanted this soap because I have heard really good reviews about it. I have also been told that it will be great for my skin and nice and gentle. With having sensitive skin I find it hard to find good soaps and the good soaps usually smell funny. What Dove Promises.... They say that this soap will be sensitive to the skin as well as giving you a fresh clean feeling. This product has also been dermatalogically tested to be good on the skin and that it will not dry your skin out. The senses..... Touch... When this soap is wet ... Read the complete review
