I really love Dove products and all my family that buy me a little gift at Christmas since I now have 2 children always buy me Dive sets so I never have to buy any myself. The Dove bodywashes come in a 250ml bottle and they sell at just over £2 usually however you can find them in many places at £1 if you look at the correct time and the supermarkets often put them in offer at £1. There are now loads of different types and fragrances in the Dove range too so you have a wide choice especially if you don't like the smell of Dove as personally I think you either love the smell or are not too keen. The Dove body wash comes in a wash plastic bottle which is much narrower at the top than the bottom and looks rather like a raindrop, there is a royal blue area on the lid and then some colour in the detail on the bottle but other than that it is a crisp white. There is a flip top lid on the bottle which is very stiff to begin with and in general I open it before I get in the shower and get wet. Dove promises there is ¼ moisturising cream in the product and the bodywash is really creamy, the body wash is white in colour and has a real shine to it. The wash lathers up very well and it feels really silky as you wash with it, I find the wash rinses off my skin very easily and leaves my skin feeling clean with no residue. I find that my skin smells clean, I cannot describe the Dove smell properly but simply clean and fresh and I really like it as a body wash as then I can slather my skin in butters and I don't have 2 smells colliding with each other. I love how soft and moisturised my skin feels and I sometimes don't have time for moisturising and my skin feels great with just the effects of this product. I have nothing bad to say about this product, if you prefer more of a smell then there are others in the range for you, the product lathers well, leaves skin feeling great and it has a decent price tag too, 5 stars from me.
Dove products are most of the time highly recommended and when looking for a new body wash to try I thought I'd give Dove's triple moisturising body wash a go. The body wash is widely available to purchase from the likes of Asda, Tesco and places like Boots. A 250ml bottle of it will cost around £2 but can occasionally be found on special offers such as 2 for £3. The packaging is quite typical of Dove body wash products being presented in a tear drop shaped bottle. The front of the bottle contains the product name and tells us that it contains one quarter moisturising cream, the back of the bottle has all of the normal information, ingredients etc. The top of the bottle features a flip top lid to get the body wash out of the bottle. I find the lid is quite stiff to open the first few uses which can be particularly annoying when you are dripping wet and your grip isn't that great anyway. It does ease off after it's been used a few times so it isn't too much of a problem. The body wash itself has a very creamy consistency which gives a nice rich feeling to it. The colour of the wash also matches the consistency being pearly white. It is definitely a luxurious body wash when it's first dispensed. I was a little disappointed with the scent though, I prefer fruity or floral scented body washes but this didn't have any kind of scent to it, a clean scent is the only way to describe it. Nine times out of ten I use a body puff to wash myself and I find that a tiny bit of this body wash creates a huge lather so you really don't need to use much of it to clean yourself. The same applies to if I don't use a body puff too and you really don't need to use much so the bottle does seem to last a long time compared to other body washes. Once the body wash is rinsed off there is no trace of it left behind. I find my skin feels refreshed and moisturised after I've showered and it definitely feels like my skin has been taken care of. I still use other body moisturisers after using this but this is more down to habit, I don't think other moisturisers are particularly needed. I'd definitely recommend this Dove triple moisturising body wash. It feels luxurious when you use it and leaves skin feeling great. I would have liked a more feminine scent to it but we can't have everything our own way!
Having used this body wash as my main choice for well over a year now, I'm definitely not about to jump ship to another. The style of the bottle reflects the brand perfectly. Natural and white, with a hint of blue it's as if it is telling you how 'natural' the product inside it is. I suppose it could be classed as a little simple for some, but generally the Dove brand is respected and well known so don't let that put you off! The wash itself is lovely, it feels really creamy and thick so you definitely feel like you have a quality, luxurious product. A little goes a long way and you can lather it up really well, so you shouldn't need to buy a new bottle too often! It leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth, and as someone who has quite sensitive and dry skin I can say that this has made a difference since I started using it. It is an everyday product that will help keep your skin moisturised - basically, it does what it says it will!
I have brought dove products on and off for years, I hadnt brought any for while so i saw this on offer for £1 for a 250ml bottle in sainsburys. The packaging is a nice white bottle that is very simple yet eye catching, it states that its triple moisturising because firstly it cleanses and the 1/4 moisturising cream thats in it smoothes and softens the skin which leaves you feeling smooth and silky. I have to admit when I pour it out you only need a small amount as it does lather up really well, the thickness of the body wash is just right i find as it isnt to runny or to thick. The smell of it is of a somewhat delicate fragrance which is really pleasant. whilst using this I did notice how soft and smooth it made my skin feel, it was like you could really feel it moisturising my skin. I even tried it on dry parts of skin I seem to have and it really did make it feel alot smoother. In my opinion I would say this is correct to say it is a triple moisuriser as it does everything it says. Like it states on the bottle, dont just use this occasionally because everyday is everything. It really is a everyday product to use to help keep your skin moisturised and feeling smoother. After using this product it was fair to say I didnt feel the need to moisturise after as it left my skin so soft and smelling beautifull. I think this is an important product for every woman to own as part of their beauty reigme. So I would reccomend this product to a friend as it lives true to its word and does what it says on the tin.
The review that I am writing today has to be for one of the most nourishing shower creams that I have tried. It is the Dove triple moisturising body wash which contains ¼ moisturising cream so I was expecting my skin to feel soft but the results it gives surpasses all of my expectations. PACKAGING As with all Dove shower gels this product comes in a plastic, tear-drop shape bottle. The lid is on the top of the bottle which I am not usually a fan of but when the body wash is this good I can make an exception. The lid pops open to reveal a small hole which allows the body wash to squeeze out of sparingly, this way you can get just the right amount. The tear-drop shape bottle allows you to grip the bottle easily whilst in the shower. The bottle itself is pearly white so you cannot see inside but you can easily tell when you are running out as the bottle gets thinner. I think if the bottle was see-through it would take it away from the Dove brand and I find that when I know I am washing with Dove I always feel better and like I am having a more luxurious shower. PRODUCT As you squeeze out the product you will instantly notice its moisturising qualities. It is of a very thick consistency. If I had seen the body wash without knowing what it was I would think it was a moisturiser or a body lotion due to the thickness of it. It is also very white in colour. As you begin to use the shower gel it builds up a luxurious lather with the Dove aroma which fills the shower. If you do not know what Dove smells like it is a very fresh smell which makes you feel exceptionally gorgeous and clean. The bubbles that are released form the lather sink into your skin instantly making your skin feel more nourished. Once the lather has been washed away you will notice how soft your skin feels, this is because the Dove body wash gently cleanses while the moisturising cream in the body was smoothes and softens the skin and helps the skin to maintain its natural moisture and softness. As the smell of this product is quite subtle you will find that the scent on your skin does not last particularly long. After a couple of hours I have found that the smell has faded away. PRICE For a 200ml bottle of this you can expect to pay around £2 but it is always on offer so look out for that. CONCLUSION This is a gorgeous product that makes your skin feel completely rejuvenated. I cannot recommend it enough. 10 out of 10.
For some weird reason I've always thought that Dove was an expensive range of products for dry skin. I realised that I was wrong (at least if it comes to the price) when I found Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash on offer for £1. The appearance, scent and texture This shower cream (this is how I used it) is supplied in a white plastic 250 ml bottle with a flip on/off lid at the top. The labelling is in blue letters and it has a picture of cream on the front. The design is plain yet very nice. This body wash has a creamy white colour and as you open the bottle, you can smell its amazing scent. It is mild and delicate but extremely pleasant. I could just sniff it for hours! The texture is very silky and creamy - you can feel it immediately. I think that the texture is simply perfect - it isn't overly runny but it isn't thick either so even if you don't have a shower puff or sponge, it is easy to use. How it works? I usually use it on a shower puff so a little goes a long way and it lathers up really quickly producing enormous amount of foam. It cleanses well and it is a pleasure to use. After I finish showering, my skin is nice and smooth, and it smells gorgeous! It rinses off easily and it leaves a feeling of moisturised skin (which is not always the case with shower gels). It is very mild to the skin so I'm sure it will work perfectly well on sensitive skin. The price and availability As I have mentioned above, I personally bought it for a pound. However, the normal price oscillates around £2. It can be bought in Boots, Superdrug, pharmacies and supermarkets (such as Tesco or Asda). The summary Overall, I think this is a very decent, reasonably priced body wash and it will surely appear on my bathroom shelf more often. It also seems to be unisex so not only ladies can enjoy it. Thank you for reading my review. It may also be posted elsewhere.
Recently in my local Tesco Dove triple moisturising body wash, the 250ml size was on a buy one get one half price offer, with the original price of one pound ninety nine pence. I normally buy different shower gels and body washes when they are on offer, to make the bill a bit cheaper, and I was really sold to this one as it had moisturising in the title, and I suffer from dry skin. The product itself comes in a white plastic container with a small flip on and off lip on the top which covers the hole which the wash comes out of with a small squeeze. Its very easy to dispense the amount you want without wasting any, which is perfect, as with some body washes, I find it hard to get any out then give it a big squeeze and end up letting far too much out which just then goes to waste! The only downside with this packaging is that it is hard to get the dregs out at the bottom when you come to the end of it's life. Normally with shower cremes / gels / washes I just turn the product on its head and wait for gravity to do it's work. The problem is, with the shape of this one's top, you cannot really do that without some strategic balancing! The cream itself is a white / cream coloured thick liquid which feels silky and smooth as soon as you put it onto your hand. It looks too thick to lather up but as soon as you put it on your skin and it hits the water it is easy to lather up, which means you can spread it around your body nicely without using it all up in one wash! It feels so lovely on the skin, not harsh and abrasive like some washes are. The scent is practically non existant, and although I love washes with smells in sometimes it is nice not too have one and just smell, well natural and neutral!! It is easy to wash off, and leaves my skin very smooth, very moisturised and very soft. I didn't think my skin would feel clean, I thought it was one of the other- moist of clean, but even though my skin doesnt feel like the top layer has been taken off and its been scrubbed raw (!!) I still feel clean. 5* wash- has the best of every world!
When it comes to Dove products they hold a very warm and solid place in my heart. I believe the brand that is Dove offers excellent quality, superior products and I am rather a fan of them which means that although I do use other brands of things I do eventually always return to Dove in the end! This Triple Moisturising Body Wash is something that I purchase from time to time, particularly when my skin goes dry. I spotted it on offer recently in Asda costing a mere pound a bottle and I actually snapped three bottles up and bunged them in a cupboard for future use! The Packaging: 250ml white plastic bottle that has a matching flip-top lid to the top of it with a section of blue plastic. On the front of the bottle I am told that it is Dove triple Moisturising Beauty Care Body Wash and there is a little gold emblem of a dove on there and I am told that it contains 1/4 moisturising cream and there is a light blue 'pool' of cream shown. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a bit about the product, ingredients and the size is stated (as I've listed already) and contact details for Unilver are stated (the manufacturer of the product). This is a nice simple bottle in its appearance and informative enough and I personally like its simplicity and I'm sure men wouldn't feel embarrassed at owning a bottle of this either as it is rather unisex in its appearance. A Bit About The Product According To The Information Given On The Back Of The Bottle: The key to beautiful skin is moisture. That's why Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash is is made to indulge your skin, not just your senses. How? In three ways: First, it gently cleanses whilst the rich Dove 1/4 moisturising cream soothes and softens the skin, then it keeps that moisture locked in to the skin, and finally it helps the skin maintain its natural moisture and softness. P.S Don't use 'occasionally'. In skincare, every day is everything. Using It: All you need of this smooth cream is a small blob for a really lathery and soft wash all over. It has a sweet but luxurious and rather unisex sort of soapy fragrance to it and really does cleanse the body whilst making it feel silky smooth at the same time. It rinses off with real ease leaving skin feeling delicately hydrated without feeling like any residue is left behind it, the fragrance smells on the skin for a good few hours after using it and all in all I love this body wash. Its suitable for both use in the bath and shower and really does leave my skin feeling in tip top shape. I can shave my bits and bobs with this too and all round this is always a product I shall purchase time and time again in the future! It's quite simply lovely stuff! Available in all good supermarkets and chemists etc and if not on offer will cost close to about £2.00 for a bottle the size I am reviewing! My boyfriend has very dry sensitive skin, that can flare up with certain products. So, whilst I'm happy to use any old combination of lotions and potions when having a bath, he tends to stick to products he knows aren't going to cause irritation - and one of those favourites that we always have in our bathroom is Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash. Like me, you might be wondering how something can be triple moisturising. I initially assumed that this just meant this was three times as good as their other body washes - until I read the packaging, which make the comment that moisturisation needs to go deeper than just the surface of your skin. Apparently this product works three ways - deep absorption, replenishing moisture from within, and helping the skin renew itself to keep moisture locked in. All very good claims indeed, but does it work ? The creamy white liquid is easy to squeeze out of the bottle, and is a nice thickness - not too thick to be easily usable, but not so runny that it goes everywhere . It has a light scent - nothing specific that I can place my finger on, but a lovely clean smell. This lathers up nicely, and rinses off just as well, leaving nothing behind but a delicate clean scent that quickly fades . My boyfriend uses this on an almost daily basis, and his skin is greatly improved since using it, with it being much softer and less dry . This has never caused him any flare ups, and although he is always going to have patches of excema, this body wash does seem to be gentle enough for him to use, and to in fact be improving his skin . I don't use this as often - I like to mix and match in the bathroom depending on my mood , but I do notice my skin is soft and healthy looking after using this, and remains so for a couple of days . At £2.00 for a 200ml bottle, this is good value as a little goes a long way, and it lives up to it's claim to moisturise the skin . 5 stars .
I absolutely love Dove products as they are so good value for money and also they work and I love this one as it is works perfectly to moisturise my skin and keep it nice and soft, especially now I am getting older and my skin is getting much thinner and also more drier. It comes in a white plastic bottle with a flip back lid, and inside it is a very thick, rich white cream and a very good quality too, I bought it on special offer recently for only £1.50 for a 400ml bottle and the usual price was over £3 and I had to buy it while at that very low price and save some money for a quality product. It cleans the skin and moisturises at the same time to leave it lathers very well and also rinses off perfectly and the results are just amazing in my opinion, the smell of it has a very nice fragrance and the texture is beautifully soft and smooth and when massaged into the skin it just glides across the skin with no effort need at all, and I can always feel it working the second it hits my skin and when I dry the skin, I can feel the softness immediately. It hydrates the skin too and locks in the moisture to keep it nice and soft for a long time and used with a body lotion or cream the results speak for themselves in my opinion. I think Dove do an amazing job of giving all of their products very good results and they are all good quality as well as working in my opinion, and this contains ¼ moisturising cream to give the results and I think the bottle looks nice too in the bathroom and although some other products look attractive, they do not always give good results but with this one it does. The smell on the skin does last a long time even without using a body lotion as sometimes I have not always had the time to use a body lotion and my skin still has a nice smell to it that has lasted quite some time. It is very easy to rinse off too, which can save some time for some people like myself and it is very gentle on the skin and does not irritate it at all, it is quite the opposite, it blends perfectly into the skin and has an amazing texture and I highly recommend it for anyone to try and especially to look out for the special offers lately and I bought this one from Boots on offer. Some body washes look quite dirty white but with this one it is extremely a fresh bright white as some others look kind of like a off grey and are supposed to be white but with this one it is not the case. I give this one 5 stars for quality and very good value for money. Thank you for reading my review.
As may be seen from my other body wash reviews, I like trying lots of different varieties from pretty much any brand. One I have tried quite a few times and will continue to do so is Dove. Superdrug has body wash offers on rotation so even if this product isn't on offer when you go in, it will be at some point soon enough. Currently, the 250ml bottles costing £1.99 are on an offer of 2 for £2, effective a buy one get one free offer, while the bigger 400ml ones, which are normally the better value, are 2 for £4. So in this case, the smaller ones are a better bargain. These bottles look quite smart and would fit with most bathrooms being blue and white. The bottle is white all over with a blue tipped cap and the blue Dove logo and a picture of some cream being poured on the front. Simple and effective. I really love the smell of this, it smells like a creamy moisturiser, the sort of thing I would like my whole bathroom to smell off, it's very inviting. When you pour it out, you can see that their claim of 1/4 moisturising cream is probably accurate because it comes out so thick that it looks like a runny moisturiser rather than a body wash. You can feel how thick it is when you rub it on your skin too and your skin feels really smooth and silky arfterwards and of course it moisturises and lathers well so you don't use it up really quickly like Imperial Leather say. I really like this and will keep it on my favourites list and will try others in their range.
I am a little bit fickle when it comes to the brand and variety of shower gel/wash I buy. We seem to get through so much of the stuff that instead of remaining faithful to any particular brand, I just buy whatever is on the best special offer at the time of my shopping. I have to confess however that if pennies weren't a deciding fator, I would probably go for Original Source every time, as I love their friuty aromas and have found that they provide a really invigourating shower experience. My husband is also a fan of the zesty shower gels and has said that they help him wake up in the morning as he is getting ready for work all tired and bleary eyed. This week I was in need of a new bottle and whilst doing my online Tesco shopping, I came across this Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash being on special offer. It was reduced down to £1 from £2 for a 250ml bottle which was a great saving for a premium branded product so I decided to give it a go. I had heard great things about the Dove brand, being incredibly gentle and moisterising but hadn't got round to trying any of the products, so this gave me a good opportunity to give it a go. As I am pregnant at the moment, any product that gives my strained skin an extra moisture boost is very welcome and I thing that this really influenced my decision. Next time I showered I used the Dove wash and as soon as I squeezed some out of the bottle the thing that struck me was that this was more of a creamy lotion than a shower gel. It was incredible creamy and as I used my shower puff to apply it, it built up a very luxiourious lather. The smell was quite subtle and it reminded me a little of a floral baby lotion, it was certainly more feminine than the zesty shower gels I was used too. I did find it incredibly gentle on my skin and I also found it far more moisterising than other products I have used in the past. After showering and drying off, my skin was left feeling really soft and smooth and this continued throughout the day. For this reason, I really enjoyed using this product, my only negative is that the actual showering experience isn't quite as enjoyable. I spoke to my husband about his feelings, and as I predicted, he wasn't all that impressed. He found it too feminine and floral and asked that I reverted back to something more zesty on our next shop.
Dove shower gel/body wash I love the dove brand and most of the dove products, and this wash is not exception! Firstly I like the brand in my opinion is a a good, very high quality brand. I have been using dove products for years - especially this product. I like the packaging of the products, they seem very clean and clinical and simple. I also really really love the smell of the products, I can't describe the smell but it is like squeaky clean and nice. Also this is the only product that I have tried that actually rehydrates and intensely moisturises my skin! Other products that I have tried seem to strip away my skins natural oils and make it quite dry, but this one from dove doesn't! It has a really nice silky, creamy texture and it smoothes, soothes and intensely hydrates my skin, which can be quite dry a lot of the time. I also have skin that is a bit sensitive to certain products but this wash didn't irritate my skin at all! But one factor I don't really like is that to my knowledge there are no/little natural ingredients in it (there is a list of the ingredients for the product on the dove uk webiste). Also this body wash is quite expensive, I usually see this product at between £1.99 to £2.99 or more, which for a body wash is quite expensive. You can also buy the smaller travel sizes which are cheaper. These products are usually stocked in most of the larger supermarkets and also in boots. Conclusions *Quite expensive for a body wash *Nice clean simple packaging *No/little natural ingredients *Runs out very quickly *Comes in larger and travel mini sizes *Widely available in larger supermarkets *Intensely hydrates, moisturises and soothes my skin *Doesn't strip away the skins natural oils Thank you for reading my review
What a fantasic and luxurious treat this is to have in your shower. I absolutely love it. I'm not one usually to stick to brands when it comes to shower gels and bubble baths, but the Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash is my favorite body wash of all time. The body wash comes in a lovely attractivly designed, slim white bottle with the usual 'Dove' logo on the front. Although the bottle is very nice looking I do find that I have a habit of sending it flying when I'm in the shower because it's thin design means that it is very easy to knock over. Perhaps I should just be a little more careful and space aware. The wash itself is creamy coloured and smells absolutely gorgeous. You need the tiniest amount to foam up into a rich and fabulous lather which is pure luxury. I have one of those net body wash/scrub things, the name escapes me at the moment. I love to use this in conjunction with the body wash to give myself a good scrub in the shower. The combination of the foamy body wash and a good vigorous scrub is just wonderful. The body wash rinses off easily and when you depart the shower and dry off you find that your skin has been left silken smooth and soft and moisturised. This body wash really does do what it says on the bottle! Price wise, I think the body wash is very reasonable at £2.44 a time, and you can find it on offer quite often all over the place for £1.00 a time, so be sure to stock up whilst it is super cheap! Overall I rate the Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash as a 9/10 because it is a fantasticly luxurious shower-time treat which leaves your body silky soft and completely moisturised. I mark it down slightly because the base of the bottle could do with being a little wider so my butter fingers don't send it flying half way across the bathroom all the time.
My nan uses the Dove products a lot and as it was in the shower when I got in, I decided to give it a try. We had a 400ml bottle of the triple moisturising body wash which cost £4.75 in Sainsburys. The bottle is white with a blue bit on the top to help you see the difference between that bottle and the other ones in the range. The writing is blue and gold. The label on the bottle says that the product works in three ways. It gently cleanses and as it is made of 1/4 moisturising cream it softens and smoothes the skin. It then locks the moisture into the skin and helps the skin maintain its natural moisture and softness. You are recommended to use the product everyday but I only used it once. I wasn't overly keen on the smell, it did just smell like moisturiser. It was a good consistancy and so easy to pour onto my body puff. The body wash itself is white in colour and took a while to lather up. As it didn't lather quickly, I had lines of product left on my skin from where I was using the body puff so it looked like I was washing in moisturiser. The body wash rinses off easily though. My skin felt soft when I got out of the shower but I wouldn't say it was any softer than it has been with other products. You may notice a difference if you use the body wash every day though. For me, the body wash was ok but nothing special.
