Disadvantages: None
I have recently signed up to a few companies to trial new products which I am interested in, so it is always a nice surprise when something new comes in through my door.
One of these products was this VisibleCare Renewing Creme Body Wash from Dove. Firstly, I must say that for a tester/trial product, it is of a generous size at 55ml, which means that you can try the product properly, rather than just once from a sachet, which is why I felt I had used an adequate amount of the product to be able to write a review.
The packaging is quite nice and sturdy (exactly as shown in the picture above), so it has been placed in my shower with my other products. I like the size of this (trial) product as it is suitable for travelling, but I imagine the full-sized version would be larger so could not comment on how portable that may be.
The product itself smells quite nice and is the same as other Dove products with that gentle, luxurious scent. It squeezes out and isn't too runny or too thick, it reminds me of Dove handwash creams. I find that it lathers up enough, but not too much, it is more luxurious and creamy than bubbly. I do feel the moisturising effects of it straight away though and the smell while not overpowering, does smell nice. I am using herbal essences shampoo/conditioner at the moment and love the smell of that so like the mild and gentler scent attached to this Body Creme.
The product makes a claim of 'Proven skin improvement in 7 days' now I use different products daily depending on my mood at the time. Although I have selected this a few times, I have not use it for seven days in a row so cannot comment on the effects of my skin, but I do feel clean and moisturised after using it. I still use my moisturisers though, out of habit I guess!
I have no idea how much this product is on the market for, or where/when it will be available, but if a full-size bottle was on sale for £2 or less, I would probably buy it because it is nourishing, gentle and luxurious without being overpowering.
It wouldn't be my first choice though because I would consider other products too and am not running out to buy it, so for that reason I will be rating it with four stars.
Summary: worth having as an option but it wouldn't be the only one in my bathroom
