      Advantages

      Disadvantages

There are probably cheaper products out there that do the same (Avon does one actually!)

I love Elemis products and as they are expensive they do tend to be a bit of a treat.

However I had a 20% off voucher through my work and treated myself to the Herbal Bath Synergy sachets which retail at £52.00 together with the Cellutox Active Body Concentrate (which you use afterwards)

For your money you get 10 sachets which you use one sachet in the bath twice a week for five weeks. All you do is run the water, rip open the top of the sachet and pour in what looks like powder into the bath... It's not the most attractive powder as its grey in colour but once its disolved it just makes your bath water a bit cloudy..

Elemis states that you need to dip and detox for 15-20 minutes which isn't a problem for me as I really enjoy a good soak...It does smell pleasant though and you can smell the lemon and sea fennel in it..

As part of the programme they suggest that you rub in some of the Active Body Concentrate after your bath which I did..

Elemis proclaims that this product helps break down cellulite and combat the build up of toxins... I followed the routine for 5 weeks as stated and whilst it didn't get rid of cellulite there was a definite improvement and my skin tone had also improved, however as I used to massage in the concentrate afterwards this probably would have helped so I'm unsure if it would be as good with just the sachets..

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

If you have the money and the time, this can only help in your fight against cellulite.

Elemis are famous for their spas and are thus just as highly regarded for their products as much as their facial skincare products. They are also famous for their use of natural ingredients in a scientific way, so they use products in ways that your skin will help accept and recognise, so it can work in an effective way.

This product is for the bath and it also has a sister-product in the range ( Elemis Cellutox Active Body Concentrate ) which can be AFTER the bath, applied to damp skin to help lock in the oils. That said, if you are on a budget you do not need to buy both. The bath sachets also contain effective ingredients too, but they do work to their best advantage when used together.

This bath product is designed to help reduce the build up of toxins in the blood ( which is one of the issues very strongly related to the causes of cellulite ) However, this is not for those looking for a miracle product where combating cellulite is concerned !! This product used in conjunction with exercise, drinking 2litres of water daily and body brushing will help though !!

The reason why this product is deemed helpful is because it contains the likes of Juniper, Lemon, Sea Fennel, Sea Buckthorn, Sea Salt and Spray Dried Bladderwrack.

Juniper oil oil is useful to detoxify and clear congested skin, making it excellent to help clear cellulite and to return the tissue to normal functioning. Lemon is thought to be an excellent detox ingredient, Sea fennel to increase circulation and energise the skin, Sea Buckthorn for it's unqie properties of combining oil soluble and water soluble vitamins A and C, Sea salt for it's reviving and purifying qualities and Spray dried Bladderwrack to stimulate thyroid gland as a treatment for cellulite in this case (since it's believed that fluid retention and a congested digestive system also plays its part in the uild of cellulite.)

The sachets should be used as part of a treatment course which should last five weeks, if you buy the 10 sachet product. One sachet should be used twice a week, for five weeks.

The contents of the sachet should be added to your bath and you should spend at least 20 minutes in the bath to allow the oils and ingredients to soak into the skin. Do not wash off with cleansing products !! You should purely soak in the bath and not use this time to exfoliate or cleanse the body.

For maximum results, dry body-brush your body in light strokes towards the heart and then follow the bath with Elemis' cellutox oil.

As already directed in other Elemis reviews, DO NOT use this product whilst pregnant or whilst breastfeeding !!!
