I first found enchanted through a forum which I frequent. Enchanted is an online store (www.enchantedbath.co.uk) which sells a variety of bath, shower and skin products as well as perfumes and wax melts. The products are all handmade and are decorated and coloured beautifully. This is reflected in the time from when you order to when you receive your goodies but the waiting time is always posted on the website and is usually a couple of weeks. I am happy to wait this for such lovely products.
My favourite Enchanted product is the Whipped Bodywash. This is a creamy soap which is the texture of a cream. It contains jojoba oil which is excellent at moisturising the skin and it can be scented in any fragrance that is on the list on the site. To use, you wet the skin and then scoop out a small amount of cream and rub it on your skin. It becomes a gorgeously soft, thick foam which is amazing for shaving with. A little bit of product goes a long way and a 200g jar lasts me a long time. After I rinsed this product off my skin and dried myself, it was the softest skin I have had in a while. My skin was lightly scented with the fragrance I had chosen.
The fragrances I have used of Whipped Bodywash are Pink Candy, Baby Powder, Cherry Bakewell and Bath Pixie. Pink Candy is a lovely dupe of the Lush Creamy Candy/Rockstar fragrance, it is a sweet and creamy smell and is very girly. Baby Powder is a comforting, clean fragrance. I wouldn't have tried it if it hadn't been given as a free gift but now I love it. Cherry Bakewell is my favourite Enchanted fragrance. It is a gorgeous sugary scent with cherries and almonds, totally delicious. Bath Pixie is a more complicated sweet fragrance. The Enchanted website describes this scent as "A decadent vanilla creme brulee base swirled with fruity sugar, rich berries, juicy black cherries and thick whipped cream". It is a truly gorgeous sweet scent and another of my favourites.
You can buy Whipped Bodywash in 200g jars for £7.50 or 450g jars for £14 which is much better value. You can also buy a try me set for £12.50 which contains three 100g jars in whichever scents you want. Layering sets can also be bought which contain a bodywash, a foaming sugar scrub and a body cream all in the same scent.
I first stumbled across www.enchantedbath.co.uk when I joined the Lush forum at the end of last year. There was a lady selling her own homemade EU approved bath stuffs. I thought I'd give Enchanted a go and bought a few products, one being Enchanted whipped bodywash. Ordering was easy through the forum, and is now even easier that Enchanted has its own website. Sarah, the lady who runs it, kept me updated about my order throughout. I wasn't too sure what to expect, a liquid type bodywash like Dove was what I thought. I couldn't have been more wrong.
The Bodywash came in a clear plastic tub and was a lovely pink colour. When I took the lid of I was drawn in by the scent coming from the pot - it was so beautiful! I picked SubLime as it was a bestseller. The scent was absolutely gorgeous, then I noticed the consistency of the cream. Not liquid at all, more a firm souffle feel to it. It had been reccommended to me for use as a shaving cream as well as an all over wash. The moisturising properties of the cream was unbelievable, I wasn't expecting it to be as moisturising as it was. Shaving was a breeze using Enchanted Bodywash, the razor glided over my legs very easily. I found taking a small amount of bodywash and putting it in a pouff was the best way to use it. It frothed up a dream and a little amount went a very long way. The scent was very nice too!
Once I had got out of the bath and dried off, there was a definate difference to my skin. It felt nourished, moisturised and extremely soft -almost like silk, there was no need at all to use a moisturiser.
Since then I haven't looked back. Any product I use in the bath now comes from either Lush or Enchanted. At first I thought the prices were a little expensive, but having experienced Enchanted, I know the quality of the product is definatley worth that little extra more. It also lasts an age too with average use.
The selling line for Enchanted is 'Im Enchanted.... Are You?' Well in answer to that, yes, yes I am indeed!

The whipped bodywash from www.enchantedbath.co.uk is to die for. Think of soft marshmallow and you're pretty much there with the texture and consistancy of this product.
The body wash can be used in the bath or the shower. Simply rub and smother all over your body - it doesn't foam up like the sugar scrubs - and rinse. Again, another highly moisturising product from Enchanted, it left my skin feeling smooth and silky. Using it time and time again, I can honestly say my skin has never felt smoother.
The whipped bodywash comes in a multitude of scents, just for example: Banana Drama, Green Tea, Sugar Crush, Strawberry Smoothie, Sugar Topped Marshmallows, Bath Pixie, Creme De La Creme....the list goes on and on - have a look yourself: http://www.enchantedbath.co.uk/page_1560283.html
Most people will think that at £7.50 a tub, they will just continue using their regular shower gel from the supermarket but trust me, this is stuff you will want to use again and again. Enchanted is my one treat to myself and us girlies all deserve a treat. And unlike supermarket body washes, Enchanted's version does not come in a tube or bottle, it comes in a classy tub which is clear plastic with a black lid and a gold label stating what the item is and what is in it and most importantly what scent it is.
It is an absolutely great product and leaves me going back for more and more. I can be totally honest when I say I have spent £70 with Enchanted in one go and not regretted it for a moment.
I first stumbled across this product via the Lush forums, where a forumite (Sbey) began selling her handmade toiletries in the Swap Shop. Her products were very popular and a couple of friends were raving about how good they were, so I decided to see what all the fuss was about and put in a little order.
The Whipped Bodywash is expensive- currently priced at £7.50 for a 200g pot, or you can get a jumbo pot priced at £14 for 450g. The price almost put me off ordering at all to be honest- I was quite happy with my Radox shower gel that I usually get on buy one get one free. However, having tried Enchanted, I can safely say I will never buy any other body wash again- I have been completely converted!
I think the term "wonder product" is batted around far too frequently. I admit I am a sucker for products that claim they will make my skin and hair gorgeous, and make me look and feel like the glamorous models advertising them, and I must have wasted a frightening amount of money on products that do nothing for my skin. Enchanted makes none of these claims, simply saying that the body wash is moisturising and good for shaving. However it left my skin in *amazing* condition. I have horrible dry skin, that gets particularly unappealing in winter months. I have to hide my scabby legs under trousers for most of the year as my skin always looks dull, dry and flaky, however much I moisturise. Yet Enchanted took all this in it's stride and has turned them silky soft.
The product itself is a different texture to typical body washes. It comes in a pot rather than a bottle or a tube, and it is solid rather than liquid. The packaging is simple yet effective: the pots are clear so you can see the yummy products inside, with a black lid, and the product information is printed onto a gold circular label on top of the lid. The body washes can be decorated with cosmetic glitter or fun little sprinkles for that little extra touch. If you prefer not to have your body wash decorated, then should say this in the notes section when you place your order. Personally I love glitter so was delighted to receive such pretty looking products!
It has a soft, rich, scoopable consistency, and a little goes a long way. I only need a small amount of product to create masses of gorgeous lather. To use the product, I squish a small amount of the product into a shower puff and then rub the puff over wet skin. It feels so luxurious and I was amazed at the lather- so rich and moisturising- and it is indeed a great product for shaving my legs. There was so much lather, I was able to rub the puff all over my body, shave, and then go round with the puff again, as there was so much lather it is criminal to waste it!
I was absolutely amazed with my skin when I dried myself after the bath. My usually horribly dry legs literally felt silky soft, as did the rest of my body. I have now had the confidence to get my legs out and wear dresses on nights out, and my boyfriend is continually commenting on how soft my skin is (he is not the most observant of chaps, so this is high praise indeed!).
As if the effectiveness of this body wash was not enough, Enchanted makes this in a long scent list, including some absolutely incredible scents! SubLIME is my absolute favourite- the website describes it as "Warm sugar cookies topped with ooey gooey marshmallows, smooth caramel and a heavy twist of sugared lime". I am not a big fan of lime but this is just incredible- I am completely addicted to it and have bought the perfume, scrub, bath salts, soap, and body spray all in SubLIME! I have also tried Cherry Bakewell, which is a wonderfully accurate, sweet and delicious scent, and Marzipan, which smells of sweet almondy goodness. Bath Pixie is another one of my favourites, and smells of vanilla, berries, cherries and cream, and La Push, which is a lovely subtle scent that reminds me of the sea. The scent does linger on my skin afterwards, and you can also build up or layer the scents by using the foaming scrubs, moisturisers and/or perfumes. There are new scents released each month, and there are also new limited edition scents to tie in with special occasions throughout the year- for example, spooky scents for Halloween, festive scents for Christmas, chocolatey scents for Easter etc. The scent list is incredible and there is such variety on there that there really is something for everybody- have a look and see what tempts you!
The Enchanted website (www.enchantedbath.co.uk) was launched in February 2010, and products are still being added. They can also make soap, which is not yet on the website, but you can order it (in any scent on the website) or get information on by emailing them on the Contact Us tab on the website. Sarah, who runs the website, is extremely helpful and friendly, and has happily replied to my endless questions to find me products and scents that I will love.
The products are all made to order, and the current length of her Turn Around Time (TAT) is displayed on her website. This is usually 2-3 weeks but your goodies may well arrive faster. I would recommend signing up to the Enchanted monthly newsletter, as this contains special offers such as freebies when you spend a certain amount, or an offer code to get a percentage discount. To sign up, just email Sarah via the Contact Us tab and ask to join the mailing list.
Enchanted has transformed my skin, this is an incredible product and I really can't rate it highly enough. It is fantastic value for money as you need such a small amount of body wash per use that a pot lasts for ages. I have been using mine 3 times a week for 2 months and I have only used about 80g of it. My only dilemma is trying to narrow down the scents I want to try! I am so so glad I tried it, and thoroughly recommend you do too!
