fcuk Urban Body wash
I do like bath products and when this was on offer (half price) in Boots, I thought I would give it a go.
**What does it promise?**
The body wash has apparently been formulated for high performance cleansing with added ingredients to hydrate and moisturise skin.
It is also dermatologically tested, and suitable for all skin types, so although I don't have sensitive skin, I assume it will be ok for Little Miss to use.
**Product and Packaging...**
The body wash is packaged in a 300ml plastic bottle- handy for anyone with tiled bathroom floors and has a screw on/off lid. Whilst the lid is screw on/screw off, to pour the body wash, there is a small flip up lid and when opened and tipped upside down, the product is dispensed in a nice even stream. When I look at the body wash it looks a very pale green but I believe this must be the bottle, because when I pour it, it is clear. The bottle is quite short and wide and has a modern label around the full bottle with all of the instructions and information on the bottle.
The body wash itself is not overly thick and so comes out of the small dispensing hole quite easily. It is advertised as being an urban body wash with smells of citrus herbal amber and musk, although I can't smell any citrus but rather more of the musk. To me, this means that the body wash is not overtly feminine, but tends more towards a masculine smell. I don't mind this as it makes my life (and shopping) easier because it means that even the "boys" in the house will use it without complaint.
The product should be massaged onto wet skin, worked into a lather and rinsed thoroughly. I tend to pour some of the product onto a sponge and then rub it into my skin, and it does feel nice and moisturising and when added to hot water, the scent seems to be released, leaving a nice warm smell in the bathroom. When I massage it into my skin I get a nice lather which is easy to rinse off without leaving any residue or feeling that the product is still left on my skin. I have also used the body wash as a bubble bath and when I pour it under running water, it produces a pleasing amount of bubbles and leaves the skin feeling soft and clean.
**Price and Availability...**
The normal RRP is £3.80 but it is on offer at the moment at Boots for £1.90 which is reasonable value for the body wash
I like this body wash. It is suitable for men and women being neither overly floral or masculine either in smell or the design of the bottle. It leaves my skin feeling nice and clean and is easy to rinse off leaving my skin feeling soft and not dry. It is also suitable for younger skin as Little Miss has suffered no adverse effects when using it.
Quite pricey at full price but it is something I will buy more of while it is on offer.
Thanks for reading
