Advantages: Smell, stylish bottle, nice aquamarine colour.
Disadvantages: Price, makes bath slippery, didn't make any difference to my skin.
Fenjal is a brand which specialises in fancy shower and bath goods. Previously, I've used a few of their products in the past and had been impressed but this 'luxury' bath oil was a different story. Fenjal has a high price tag obviously and I paid £11.99 for this oil from Boots. I brought it purely because my skin had gotten quite dry recently and this claimed to soften my skin.
The product is contained in a light blue box, with the Fenjal logo clearly on the front and inside the box is a nicely shaped, curved bottle with an aquamarine, runny oil inside. Admittedly, I was impressed by the design of the product. In contrast, I wasn't impressed by the oil. For application, just pour a small amount into a hot bath, a small bit goes along way however the runny consistency of the oil is difficult to control and I've ended up putting way too much than I needed to in my bath. Unlike bubble bath, this oil creates no bubbles and just turns your bath water into a slightly tinted aqua colour. The smell is undescribable, it's sort of like an eucalyptus scent and is very strong, I do enjoy the smell though. Unfortunately, the oil didn't do anything to my skin, my skin felt the same, if not even drier than before.
After usage, my skin wasn't softer like it was promised to be. After I drained my bath, the surface of the plastic felt very slippy, which was obviously hazardous and the smell of the oil still lingered in my bathroom for hours to come.
Overall, I wasn't impressed with this Fenjal oil especially considering what I paid for it. I was expecting alot more from it and I won't be purchasing it again and I wouldn't advise anyone else to buy it either unless you want a dangerous, slippery bath and unnoticably different skin. Not worth the money. 2 stars.
Summary: Wouldn't buy again, didn't do anything to my skin.
