      Shower wash

Gemspa shimmer shower wash I recentlypurchased some of these products when in Morrisons, for no reason other than I liked the packaging and am always keen to try out new products. **The Products...** This seems to be a relatively new range of skincare products, which is apparently inspired by gem stones, which are renowned for their healing properties. It is available in four categories: Reviving Rose Quartz, Relaxing Amethyst, Calming Amber and Purifying Jade, with each collection consisting of a shower wash (£3.99), eau de toilette body lotion, bath essence, hand cream, body butter , hand wash and crystal body scrub **What is this?** This is advertised as being a reviving and moisturising shimmer shower wash with fragrance of Oriental Rose, Cassis and Violet with extracts of Lychee and Rosehip Oil. It is also infused with the gemstone Rose Quartz which revives and restores body and mind. With all of these ingredients I should feel like a totally new person after a shower. **Product and Packaging...** The shower wash is packaged in a 200ml plastic bottle which stands on its flip open/press closed lid. The shower wash itself is a pale pink colour and quite thick and the bottle has to be squeezed for it to be dispensed from the relatively small hole. Due to the fact that the product contains gemstones, I had imagined that the shower wash would have felt a bit like a body scrub or at least not completely smooth. I have however rubbed it onto my skin and it is not gritty at all, so no trace of the gemstones and I cant see any traces of shimmer. The product does have a pleasant smell and the scent which is most discernible to me or at least the one I recognise is rose. When used in the shower or as a bubble bath, the smell becomes stronger and leaves the bathroom smelling fresh and aromatic. Definitely appeals to me. **Using it...** A small amount of the shower wash should be squeezed onto hands or a body puff or flannel and massaged all over wet skin. Once washed the bubbles should be rinsed off, which it does easily. I like the fact that when massaged into skin there is a gratifying amount of lather, which I like, so it does massage easily into skin. **Price and Availability...** The range is available exclusively at Morrison's stores and this shower wash costs £3.99, which whilst not the cheapest on the market, does last a long time since a little goes a long way. **Verdict...** Given that I had never seen this product until one of my brief forays into Morrisons, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. It certainly leaves skin feeling clean and refreshed and delicately scented. It is called a shimmer shower wash but I haven't noticed any shimmering of my skin after showering, but this doesn't bother me as I don't really want to sparkle post shower. The product lathers and rinses off nicely and a little goes a long way. Recommended and worth buying if in Morrisons. Thanks for reading Daniela xx
