This brand of shower/bath products is called 'I love...' and while I wouldn't go quite that far in my praise of them, I certainly like the range. I've tried two of the 'flavours' of the shower gel; the raspberry and blackberry shown in the picture here on dooyoo and, more recently, the strawberry and milkshake one.
The packaging is as shown in the picture; it's easy to dispense the product from the bottle and it's very simply designed and easy to use while still looking nice. It comes in a 200ml bottle, which is reasonably priced, particularly as you don't require too much of the product to clean your entire body. It lathers really easily and so the 200ml lasts a relatively long time.
In terms of the smell of the product, it's surprisingly nice. It doesn't really last that long but is pleasant enough. This applies to both the 'flavours' in this range that I've used in the past. I don't have particularly sensitive skin so this may not be universally true but I didn't notice any problems with it aggravating my skin either, so that's another bonus.
My one criticism is that looking at the ingredients list is rather worrying as it appears to be just one long list of indistinguishable chemicals. Obviously this objection applies to rather a lot of shampoos, shower gels and bubble baths but it is something that concerns me slightly. Despite this, I am generally rather happy with this shower gel range and would gladly recommend it. It's available in Superdrug, and is often on some form of special offer.
I purchased a few of the 'I Love..' products a while back at Morrisons as they were on offer at 3 for £5 (or £2 each). I decided to go for the 'raspberry & blackberry' products as the scent was one which I particularly liked and was a little different to the usual smells I buy.
With the use of this product and the accompanying bubble bath and body butter, I've been having some very fruity baths of late!
The packaging of this product is just as it looks in the picture here on dooyoo really. It's a clear plastic bottle with a black flip top lid. The bottle gives plenty of product information such as a full ingredients list and directions for use written a variety of languages on the back. The bottle also has a few hearts printed on it for decoration. It's a very feminine looking product.
Upon opening the bottle you are greeted by a beautiful sweet and fruity scent, the berry smell in this is very detectable. I've found with the other products in this range I have tried that the smell is a lot stronger when you're actually using them rather than just smelling out of the tub/bottle. This also appears to be the case for this shower gel (actually labelled exfoliating shower smoothie on the bottle).
The product works well both in the bath or shower. Simply squeeze a little onto your hand/sponge/whatever else you use and rub into your skin. This lathers up well meaning you don't need to use loads and the 200ml bottle lasts a good two/three weeks even when using on a daily basis. As soon as you start rubbing it in the smell of this shower gel hits you and lingers in the air for a good while. It never becomes too overpowering and sickly though which is obviously a nice little bonus.
Not only does it smell gorgeous but it also looks very appealing as well. The shower gel is a pink colour with plenty of little black exfoliating seeds in it. You can really feel these seeds giving your skin a proper good scrubbing when you're rubbing the product into your body! Definitely makes me feel like I've given my skin a good clean. The shower gel is also a nice consistency, I hate runny shower gel that just slides off of my sponge as I end up using more product in the bottom of my bath/shower than I do on my skin. This doesn't happen with this shower gel however, it's thick enough to stay put but still rubs into my skin really nicely.
The after effects of are nice, my skin feels a lot cleaner and definitely smells a lot nicer! The scent of this lingers on the skin faintly for a few hours after application, it would be nice if it lasted longer but it's still a pretty good product regardless. My skin also feels quite soft after using this and I basically love it. I shall definitely be buying more!
It would appear that the only places in the UK which sell the 'I love..' range (apart from online of course) are Morrisons and Superdrug so this isn't the most widely available product I've ever used but as both stores are fairly common I shouldn't imagine it'd be too hard for other people to find.
