Advantages: Soft on the skin whilst washing

Disadvantages: No definite cherry smell for me

I saw this shower gel on offer a while back in Tescos and I was in need of a shower gel I thought it looked suitable for me. Normally this costs £1.89 for 300ml but I got it for 'better than half price' at 90p. The container is a lovely soft pink colour with pretty flowers on the front so in my opinion is very feminine looking and aimed more at girls than boys. The flavour of the shower gel is cherry blossom and vanilla.

It is a plastic bottle and is very sturdy. It stands upright very well in the shower and is not one of those annoying shaped bottles that fall over at the slightest knock. There is a flip lid on the top of it in order to get the gel out and this is fitted well and works efficiently.

When you open the lid you can't immediately smell the gel inside but if you smell it close up you can. It smells quite sweet and vanilla-y! Even when it's lathering up on you I don't think I'd know it was cherry inside, I'd know it was fruity but not sure I'd guess correctly at cherry. It pours very easily out of the bottle and is a gooey white consistency. I think it lathers up very easily and it goes a long way when you're washing yourself.

The smell does become more apparent when you're washing yourself and you're also quite aware of how smooth it feels on your skin. It is meant to be a 'pampering' shower gel and it states 'Triple Moisture' on the front of the bottle and I would agree that it feels very soft and moisturising.

After drying myself my skin does feel soft but I wouldn't say it feels moisturised. I always put my own moisturiser on after a shower anyway but my skin feels like it needs it still, even after showering with a 'Triple Moisture' shower gel.

I do like the shower gel but I wouldn't think it was definitely a cherry smell and I don't think it is as moisturising as it claims to be. It's nice to use though so would recommend it if you're looking for a basic shower gel.

Summary: Lovely, feminine shower gel, works well.
